Witness?

I remember reading about a missionary to a Buddhist country who spent years trying to convert the locals to Christianity and to build a chapel there. He didn’t have much success in either endeavor and grew more and more resentful of the natives, blaming Buddhism for all his problems.

And then one day a group of the hated Buddhist monks arrived and labored until they had finished the Christian chapel for him — even though the only Christian they knew thought of them as an enemy.

This act changed the missionary forever.

Not everyone we share the gospel with is against us. Nor are they unloving...

Polarizing and making everything black or white with no shades of grey in-between is what a lot of Christians have for a world view. You are either in or you are out.

Jesus did not have a world view as such.

Matthew 11:19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners

Jesus viewed people as people to be enjoyed, eating and drinking with them. Not as the "enemy."

Are you one of those Christians that will have nothing to do with non~christians?

Do you isolate from others around you who are not saved?

Do you know anyone who is not a Christian that you are friends with?

Do you know anyone who is an atheist?

Deeds of kindness speak volumes...
