Reality Check For The Christian "Time To Tear Down The Walls Now, We Must Build A New House."

Witness?

I remember reading about a missionary to a Buddhist country who spent years trying to convert the locals to Christianity and to build a chapel there.

He didn’t have much success in either endeavor and grew more and more resentful of the natives, blaming Buddhism for all his problems.

And then one day a group of the hated Buddhist monks arrived and labored until they had finished the Christian chapel for him — even though the only Christian they knew thought of them as an enemy.

This act changed the missionary forever.
.
Not everyone we share the gospel with is against us.

 Nor are they unloving...
.
Polarizing and making everything black or white with no shades of grey in-between is what a lot of Christians have for a world view.

You are either in or you are out.
.
Jesus did not have a world view as such.
.
Matthew 11:19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners.
.
Jesus viewed people as people to be enjoyed, eating and drinking with them.

Not as the "enemy."
.
Are you one of those Christians that will have nothing to do with non~christians?
.
Do you isolate from others around you who are not saved?
.
Do you know anyone who is not a Christian that you are friends with?
.
Do you know anyone who is an atheist?

Have you befriended a gay person?
.
Deeds of kindness speak volumes...
