We All Have A Lot To Be Thankful For

My thankful thoughts:

My every breath is life that God breathed into the nostrils of our father Adam.

When I open my eyes in the morning to greet the day which the Lord has made and I am glad in it.

My wife, my family and my friends all complete me.

When I close my eyes and the Lord comes manifested presence to me.

Knowing that this world is not all that there is and that I belong to the Kingdom that is not of this
I
world.

I am a citizen of Heaven, the Kingdom of God.

Like Moses found out; I am and He Am and was and will be.

I have the life of the ages, eternal life in Him.

Nothing can separate me from the love that provided for me all of these.

In my weakness and in my failures I have a God that still loves me unconditionally.

I rejoice that I can rejoice.

I am blessed when I come across ethical, morally good sincere people, like a refreshing ocean breeze they are to my soul.

I am humbled by the fact that He is ever there and easily entreated and always with open arms and a kiss on my neck.

For all these things and so much more He is worthy of my thanksgiving and all my praise!

And I thank Him for all my loyal readers who make typing this blog such an enjoyable labor of love for me.

We Are Not Dead Fish

This amazing message was first given on our American bi-centennial year,1976.

But it is even more relevant today then it was back then.

It clearly delineates where the Church is at and where the world is at and their divergent directions.

I have added some relevant links to help the understanding of what is being said.

Even though the net did not exist for the public at the time of this message, the tip of the iceberg was still evident and obvious.

***

There are people who come into a Spirit-led worship service who are not sympathetic to the worship.

It seems strange to them.

 We should respect their opinion.

They may feel that they want more dignity, which in their minds is the kind of reverence that is quiet in the worship services.

They are perfectly entitled to their opinions, and we should respect them very much.

We should come into the house of the Lord with the understanding that some people who come may not be accustomed to our way of worshiping.

We should be open to other ways of worship.

But we must also put the shoe on the other foot.

These people must be sympathetic to our way of worshiping, too.

There is something that is coming in the churches that is a direct contradiction to the spirit of this age.

You can go to church after church, and you cannot tell the difference between deadness that is on them and the deadness that is on the sinners of the world.

If God's people want to be ardently determined against that deadness, then they should be ardently determined against it.

Any dead fish can float downstream, but it takes a live one to swim up against the current.

This is what is happening in several Spirit-led churches across the land.

People are going against the current.

They are standing against the spirit of this age.

If you wonder where this will end, it will never end.

This age is going into what has been prophesied over and over again, not only by prophets but by economists, by sociologists, by psychiatrists, and by many others.

We are facing the end of the United States of America as we have known it.

We are coming to the end of what has been a golden age as far as America is concerned.

People do not want to believe that.

They would rather curl up in a little ball and die.

They are like those little pill-bugs that we played  with when we were children.

When we pushed on them, they would just curl up in a little ball and roll away.

That is what people are trying to do today.

They do not want to face anything that is happening.

God is raising up a people and giving them a spirit that is eternally set to resist this lukewarmness, this deadness, this spirit that God says makes Him vomit.

This age is filled with a nauseating thing of being neither hot or cold.

People say they are Americans, but they do not really want to work at it.

Instead they passively sit and watch America being torn apart.

They watch as politicians play football with their future.

They sit and watch the whole thing.

( Shekinah comment: Only 36% of eligible American voters showed up to vote in the last election.)

They do not really care that much.

They watch as newscasters come on the television and give their little spiel and look at each other with a smirk that says, "Well, what else is new?"

The sarcasm of this age is a spawn of something that was not born out of a human heart of compassion or patriotism.

I believe God can save America, but He will not save it with this indifferent spirit.

People may like to come on a Sunday morning and sing some quiet old familiar hymn.

We should respect their opinion, but we should not not be concerned about what they want to sing.

Church services should be geared so that everyone who comes will be confronted with what God says about this age, about the end of this age, about the Kingdom that is coming.

God's ministers must walk with an integrity that prepares the people for the fact that a new age is coming and the old age is about to end in disaster for everyone who is a part of it.

The cry of God's people has continually been one thing; "Come out of her My people! Save yourself!"

What was the cry on the day of Pentecost?

"Save yourselves from this generation" ( Acts 2:40 ).

"Save yourselves from this generation!"

You not only need the Lord to save you as far as a few sins are concerned, but you need the Lord to save you from the conformity to this age, your conformity to this generation.

You need to come into a place where you accept wholeheartedly that God is doing a new thing.

I do not believe you have even begun to see how totally dedicated the true believer will be in this age.

The people of God are not to be conformed to the covetous spirit that belongs to the American people.

The materialism that is an integral part of the way of life of America is no longer to be a part of the people who walk with God.

( People have lined up, and set up tents, days in advance of "Black-Friday," to get deals on materialistic goods.)

They are not to be bound by it.

Instead, they will have the desire within their hearts to rise and do whatever God tells them to do.

By this I do not mean that the believer is to get rid of everything.

Such an idea is foolish, because I believe in my own heart that God is bringing a stewardship to the remnant in this hour that will make them a Joseph company.

Instead of getting rid of everything, God is going to heap it on them.

(Thou shalt not steal is indicative that we can own stuff.)

The prophecy of Isaiah says that the wealth of the Gentiles shall flow to the remnant ( Isaiah 61:6 ).

The believer should not be looking for less; nor should he be rising in the mornings, saying, "Lord I don't know where I'm going to be fed today."

He should not even believe for a miracle of birds to come as Elijah.

The man of God today should arise in the mornings, saying,"O God, open the windows of heaven because I may have to feed a million people tomorrow."

It takes a great deal more to live than it does to die.

It takes a great deal more to be dedicated faithfully as a steward than it does to walk in utter poverty.

Anyone can go out and die as a martyr.

Anyone can simply go out and be killed.

But to take your life and live it faithfully for God day by day, year in and year out, that can be a living death; nevertheless, it is something that God is bringing forth for the Kingdom.

You cannot walk in such a manner as long as you find yourself drifting along with the whole spirit of this age.

You must rise up and go against it.

You must have the feeling in your heart that you want to go against it.

The greatest liberty a human being ever attains is the freedom from the fear of man. The fear of man maketh a snare ( Proverbs 29:25 ).

That is what is snaring the whole world.

People have been pressured and pressured into conformity until they do only what all their peers think they ought to do.

They think as they think; they feel as they feel; they fail to react as they fail to react; like a dumb herd of little sheep led to the slaughter- that is exactly the way the world is going.

That is what gives the communist their power.

That is what causes world revolutions.

That is why entire civilizations are being wiped out.

Cultures, ethnic groups are destroyed because the fear of man keeps the people from resisting.

  What shall God's people do?

They must stand fast until the word that God has given is refined in their hearts seven times as pure gold.

Then they can stand and prophesy until the evil forces come down.

They can prophesy until the King reigns in Zion.

They will prophesy until the Kingdom of Gd comes forth.

Their prayer will not be a mumbling along of "Thy Kingdom come; Thy will be done."

It will be a cry, "Thy Kingdom come!"

It will be something that cries out from the midst of their spirits, "It's another day! It's another age that is different from the age in which we were born.

It's another day!"

Look around at the corruption everywhere.

Look around at the politics, at the covetousness, at the greed.

Look at it!

It is a dead, stinking thing.

If you want to live for that, if you find your heart still lusting after that sort of thing, you had better get down on your knees and search your heart and say, "What do I really want?"

Ask God to put the answer into your heart.

You will come up with one answer.

You will find your heart responding to that great word on the Sermon on the Mount; "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness" ( Matthew 6:33).

Sunday

O beloved!
Where art thou?

How My heart has yearned for your presence before Me.

O how I long for those times when we enjoyed each others company.

When we walked together.

Expand! Release! Acts.

Some churches only teach the Bible, lifting it up as the primary thing we ought to do while eliminating prophecy as something that is unnecessary. When in fact the two go hand in hand.

Prophecy flows from the seeds of the Bible, the Word of God.

We are not to just sit and learn the Bible year after year, taking it all in and not letting it flow prophetically out to others.

I had the honor of being around Greg Laurie when we were both first born again.

He would be constantly getting revelation from the Word of God by the Holy Spirit.

As we were the ones around him at the time we got front row seats to him flowing out to us the things that he was learning.

He could not contain it all to himself, he just had to share it with others.

Any one who goes to hear this man of God gets the Word from him still to this day; only he has more to give than he did way back so long ago.

All of us are to be giving out, flowing out what God flows into us; expanding the Word of God through others around us.

Today's lesson addresses these things.

 ***

In a recent discussion of the Scriptures, we were led to agree that the principle purpose for the book of Acts seems to be the description of the anointing of the Lord and the fullness of the Spirit that rested upon the early believers.

Why should such a discussion be important?

Many of us have been too narrow in our understanding of this dynamic book.

A Pentecostal influence has led us to see Acts as a book that records the fact that the Spirit of the Lord fell and the believers spoke in tongues.

We forget that this experience is not what the book of Acts is all about.

The book of Acts is about people who received the Holy Spirit, and in some cases they spoke with tongues.

But as we go deeper into the book of Acts, we find stories such as the one recorded about the Church at Ephesus ( Acts 19).

Paul found some disciples there, and he laid his hands upon them.

They received the Holy Spirit, and they spake with tongues and prophesied; and almost immediately there was a release that came from Ephesus to speak the Word of the Lord.

These people, filled with the Holy Spirit, began to speak the Word of the Lord.

Within two years everyone in Asia ( that means Asia Minor or what we call Turkey ) had heard the Word of the Lord.

Every single person had heard the Word of God.

This phenomenal evangelistic campaign started with twelve people being filled with the Holy Spirit, and from the humble beginning the Word began sounding out.

The day they received the Spirit they spoke with tongues and prophesied, and the prophetic flow began like a great magnificent tide of the Word of God that kept rising and overcoming everything else.

People with books of magic worth fortunes brought them to be burned.

The Word of God grew mightily and prevailed ( Acts 19:1-20 ).

The Book of Acts is about people being filled with the Spirit of the Lord.

But even beyond that, it is about the Word growing and prevailing over everything else.

Its pages are filled with accounts of men who were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of the Lord until that Word became like a rising tide.

Some have contended that we finally have come to the place where we do not need the Scriptures anymore.

They say we do not need the Scriptures because we have prophecy.

That is not true.

Some feel they could live on the word that a mature man of God brings, but such a word is only the fruit of the Scripture itself.

Some of these men started hiding the Word in their hearts when they were just learning to read.

They read and studied the Holy Scriptures.

The Scriptures were written upon their hearts, etched upon them with fire.

Later the Holy Spirit began to bring it to mind, and the prophetic flow began to come.

But you cannot divide that word and say, "Here is prophecy, and here is the Word."

The prophecy in a man is a result of the Word; it is a result of the Scriptures.

You can read the Scriptures and you can hear the Word with your spiritual ear, or you can hear the Word in its fruitfulness coming forth from another vessel; nevertheless, it is all the same Word.

Some say that they want to just hold to the Scriptures.

They end up putting it on a shelve like a package of seeds.

What will it grow?

What will seeds grow in a package?

Not one thing.

That is what the Bible is: a package of seeds.

You must take it, and you must plant it in your heart, and you must water it!

Let the Holy Spirit breathe on it; and after awhile, it begins to grow; it begins to spring forth.

You may say, "I'll stick to the Bible, and you can have the prophecy."

However, the prophecy is nothing more than the germinated Word.

It is germinated; it is growing; it is coming to fulfillment.

When we talk about the Word, when we talk about how the Scriptures came forth, and when we talk about how the disciples began to speak the Word of the Lord in the New Testament, we realize that God wants to do the same thing today.

He would like to set this whole move of His Spirit on fire.

But most of God's people are not deep enough into what God does in His Word to produce that fire.

Since the beginning of the restoration of the New Testament Church until this time, I do not believe that the people of God have had experiences as rich as they are now receiving.

Frankly, I believe that the experiences began at a shallow level.

God intended for them, as the restoration moved along, to become deeper and deeper.

I remember when people would say, "Praise God, we now are filled with the Holy Ghost and fire."

There was no fire, and there was not much of the Holy Ghost, either.

But they did have an experience about which they said, "We talk in tongues as the Christians did in the book of Acts."

Yet they did not move in what those early disciples moved in as recorded in the book of Acts.

What they should have said was that their experience was the beginning of a restoration of the Acts experience.

That would have been humility which God would have honored.

In the early days of this present move of God's Spirit, hands were laid on people; the elders prophesied over them; and years and years passed before these prophesies began to be fulfilled.

Now people receive a Word from God and immediately begin to move in it.

The effectiveness of impartation has improved vastly from the early days.

People can begin a walk with God now and have a clearer vision of what restoration is all about then many people had after ten years of walking in the early days of this restoration.

Why?

Because there is depth that has been established.

This leads us to certain conclusion.

Even with the most ardent determination of prophesying, even with the most intense proclaiming of the Word of the Lord, I fear that some have not had the depth of experience that brings forth the creative, forceful Word we are expecting and must have.

There is a way by which the present level of experiences can become deeper, and it is that depth that actually will give reality to our walk with God.

If experiences tend to become deeper as time goes on, then I suggest that you go back and strengthen your salvation experience and your experience in repenting.

I suggest that you seek God and get a little deeper experience of deliverance in your life.

I suggest that you get a little more release from the flesh.

To put it bluntly, it is one thing to be saved; and it is another thing to be saved to the uttermost
 ( Hebrews 7:25 ).

Would you like to be saved to the uttermost?

That is a lot of saving.

If I asked you if you were saved, you would say, "Yes."

But are you saved to the uttermost?

Have you received the Holy Spirit?

Are you really filled with the Holy Spirit?

Do you have a double portion of the Holy Spirit?

How deep an experience are you going to have?

There is nothing that you receive from Gd that is not expandable.

God does not give you anything that will not grow with your life.

Your dedication must grow.

Your revelations must grow.

God intends for the revelations and the experiences to expand and grow deeper as time goes on.

Whenever there is a waning of your experiences, a diminishing, it is a very unhealthy sign.

It is a sign that death is working in you- the wrong kind of death.

Away with the human arrogance that says, "Praise the Lord, five years ago the Lord met me," or "Two years ago He met me.

I had a real experience.

Someone laid hands on me and prophesied over me."

Perhaps he has a little more to give now than he did then.

Suppose the government decides to help everyone who is out of work by giving each a hundred dollars.

Everyone who is unemployed goes out and gets a hundred dollars.

Later, a new law is passed: the government decides to give five hundred dollars to everyone who is unemployed.

Will a man say, "I don't qualify, I already have my hundred dollars"?

No, he will yell, "I want four hundred more dollars.

If you're going to give five hundred dollars away, I only have received a hundred; and I want four hundred more."

In the same way, if God restored to you something that was one fifth of what it could be now, you should come back and say, "I want a new deal on this. I want You to give me something more.

You were passing out portions, but now You are giving out double portions, so I want a double portion.

I believe God is making available a deeper experience, a deeper appropriation than we have had thus far in the restoration of the New Testament Church.

We are entering into a new phase; and I am in favor of us all standing in line, saying, "Lord, we are ready for a double portion.

We are ready for a little deeper experience than we have had, a little deeper deliverance than we have had, a little better healing than we have had.

We are ready for an experience in the Holy Spirit where we will be overflowing constantly."

This desire for deeper experiences is leading us to a true restoration of the book of Acts' experience.

In the book of Acts it says that the disciples were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they all spake the Word of God with boldness ( Acts 4:31 ).

How would you like to speak the Word of God with boldness?

How would you like to have a new experience of being filled with the Holy Spirit until you begin speaking the Word of the Lord with boldness?

It is up to you.

You must turn that hunger loose.

The more you are filled with the Spirit, the deeper the Word will be that flows forth from you.

You cannot move in something that you do not have.

If you speak the Word with limited effectiveness ( it does not matter how much you stomp and yell ), you need to go a little further and cry out to God for a deeper faith and a greater anointing.

When there has been a meeting of God's people which has been given to exhortation and prophecy, I believe we should look for the Words that have been spoken to happen.

If prophecies come releasing the finances, we should have those finances.

If we prophesy a blessing on a missionary project, there should be a blessing on that project.

When God's people prophesy over some situation, they should expect that there will be a change.

There must be this ardent determined, forceful explosion of faith.

It is time for us to soberly analyze how much we have from God and get a little more.

We must constantly reach into a greater anointing of the Holy Spirit and say, "This is the way it's going to be; there is going to be more of God in my life."

If you go through the book of Acts, using Young's Concordance, and trace the two words, "rhema' and "Logos," which are Greek words translated into the English "word," you will discover that the two words are used interchangeably.

At the present time in a current religious movement, there is a teaching that "rhema" is the spoken word uttered by men of authority.

According to this teaching the "logos" is the written Word.

But if you check this very carefully, you will find that there were times when people spoke the "logos" and there were times when they spoke the "rehma."

In like manner there were times when they used the word "logos" when referring to Scripture. and there were times when they used "rhema."

In the New Testament, these two words were used interchangeably.

The truth of the matter is that we have a holy word, the "logos" from God, and we put in action constantly the "rhema."

It would be wrong to quibble about those words.

I believe, in fact, that the teaching that differentiates between the prophetic word and the written Word is not born out by careful research of the Scriptures.

God has given you the written Word, and it is like the packet of seeds which you plant in your heart.

That Word begins to grow and explode in your heart, and after a while what comes out is a real flow of the Word.

God never intended that anything He gives you be dead-ended within your nature.

He gives you the Holy Spirit; and as you come to Him and drink, as the Lord said, "Out of your belly will flow rivers of living water" ( John 7:38 ).

He  never intended that it stop with you.

He never intended that He put a Word in you that stops with you.

God's intention was that when He gives you a word, that word should begin to grow until it possesses you; and after a while, you will be speaking the word of God, too.

You will be a source of that word.

After  you drink of the Holy Spirit, you, too, will become a fountain of living water.

God has more for His people to move in than they are moving in right now; and the quickest way to move in what He wants is to go back to the Lord and say, "Lord, I want You to fill my vessel."

You may contend that you have been filled, but things have changed since you were filled.

In most houses there are all sizes of jars.

There are half-pints, pints, quarts, gallons, and hugh five-gallon water bottles.

If you get all those bottles together and fill them, you might question each one, saying, "Little jar, are you full?"

"I'm filled to running over."

"How about you, water bottle, are you full?"

"All five gallons. I'm filled to running over."

There is a great deal of difference between a half-pint and a five-gallon jug.

The difference is in the capacity.

As you walk on in the Lord, you are like a wineskin that stretches; sometimes you do not realize that it takes a little more to fill you after awhile.

If you have a half-pint, just keep on being full until your capacity is enlarged; and it will be enlarged.

God's people must keep seeking the Lord and keep being filled with the Lord, coming together again and again to be filled all over again.

They must let the Word of Christ dwell in them richly, and out of that word they can speak to themselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, as they come to Him to be filled again
 ( Colossians 3:16 ).

They must be conditioned to the relationship of spiritual fullness that enables them to speak the word of the Lord effectively.

They have already been doing it ever since the Viet Nam war!

Harvard has long been home to one of the fiercest advocates for climate engineering.

This week, Harvard's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences published a research announcement headlined "Adjusting Earth's Thermostat, With Caution."

That might read as oxymoronic — intentionally altering the planet's climate has rarely been considered a cautious enterprise — but it fairly accurately reflects the thrust of several new studies published by the Royal Society, all focused on exploring the controversial field of geoengineering.

Journalist Are Under Attack

In his latest Intercept piece Glenn Greenwald considers the recent defeat of the Senate's USA Freedom Act.

He remarks that governments "don't walk around trying to figure out how to limit their own power."

Instead of appealing to an allegedly irrelevant Congress Greenwald advocates utilizing the power of consumer demand to address the failings of cyber security.

Specifically he argues that companies care about their bottom line and that the trend of customers refusing to tolerate insecure products will force companies to protect user privacy, implement encryption, etc.

All told Greenwald's argument is very telling: that society can rely on corporate interests for protection.

Is it true that representative government is a lost cause and that lawmakers would never knowingly yield authority?

There are people who think that advising citizens to devolve into consumers is a dubious proposition.

Human rights charity Amnesty International has released Detekt, a tool that finds and removes known government spyware programs.

Describing the free software as the first of its kind, Amnesty commissioned the tool from prominent German computer security researcher and open source advocate Claudio Guarnieri, aka 'nex

While acknowledging that the only sure way to prevent government surveillance of huge dragnets of individuals is legislation, Marek Marczynski of Amnesty nevertheless called the tool (downloadable here) a useful countermeasure versus spooks.

According to the app's instructions, it operates similarly to popular malware or virus removal suites, though systems must be disconnected from the Internet prior to it scanning.

The Names Of Our God: A Scepter

Numbers 24:16-17King James Version (KJV)

16 He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:

17 I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.

Jesus has declared:

"All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth" (Matthew 28:18 ).

A Sceptre is a staff that is a sign of authority of the one who possesses it.

Jesus has authority

A man holding his hand up in the middle of the road is no match for a big Mac truck.

But if the man is wearing a certain uniform and wearing a badge then that which the man represents gives him the authority to stop that truck even though he in and of himself, as a man, is no match for the size and power of that truck.

A Sceptre is representing authority.

It matters not if the Scepter is a shepherds staff or an ornate bejeweled golden diamond studded staff.

The authority which the Scepter represents is what gives it impressive power.

"Here I am, here is my name and here is the Sceptre that declares my authority."

Jesus is God's Scepter given to us.

We have authority in Jesus name.

I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you (Luke 10:19 ).

The name of Jesus is our Scepter that gives us authority.

If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it ( John 14:14 )

The only condition being "in my Name."

We can use the Scepter of His name!

Authority is the power or right to give orders, make decisions, and enforce obedience.

Jesus name is authority.

Authority is power given.

The Sceptre of authority and power is Jesus Christ.

The Names Of Our God: A Great Light

Isaiah 9:2 (NIV)

The people walking in darkness
    have seen a great light;
on those living in the land of deep darkness
    a light has dawned.
Yes there is a great light that is shining on this darkened world.

Jesus said these words just as He was about to heal a blind man.

John 9:5 King James Version (KJV)
5As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

John 3:3King James Version (KJV)
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Everyone of us was born into this world without the ability to see this light until we are confronted with it by the Holy Spirit.

Even though it is shining all around us and we are existing in it.

Acts 17:28 (KJV)

For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

The revelation of God comes through Christ
Jesus.

Psalm 36:9 (KJV)
In Your light we see light.

Psalm 119:130 (KJV)
The entrance of Your Words gives light.

The Messiah Jesus is that light. His presence shines.

Where He is, there is light-simply because He is there.

To walk in Jesus is to walk in His light.

Isaiah 9:2 (KJV)
Those who dwelt in the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined.

When cheap plastic divers watches first came out in the 70's, I got one.

It had an alarm on it that you could set.

We didn't have cell phones so we wore watches.

The idea came to me to set it for 2:00 PM everyday and seek the Lord when it would go off.

Here is why I did it.

Mike my friend told me a story about a man who waited upon the Lord every morning before heading down to the bus stop to go to work.

He had read Brother Lawrence book. (Free PDF), "The practice of the presence of God."

After having done this for quite some time, one morning he was standing at the corner bus stop when a lady stepped a little to close to him than normal.

So he took a few steps side ways to restore his personal comfort zone.

The lady moved close to him again.

He took a slow step sideways and she followed.

Finally she looks at him and says, "What is that?"

He thought about it for a moment and through revelation of the Holy Spirit he realized that she was experiencing the light of Gods presence in him.

He shared Christ with her and she got born again.

The man had become a bearer of His presence because of his waiting upon the Lord.

Back to my divers watch story.

No matter what I found my self doing, when the alarm would go off I stopped what I was doing and would go to a place where no one was and wait upon the Lord.

I wanted a meeting with the Lord.

I would get quiet and lift my hands up to Him with my eyes closed and just wait upon Him for about fifteen minutes or so each time.

At first, when I started this, nothing would happen, but eventually the Holy Spirit began meeting me every time I did this.

After about a few weeks of doing this the alarm went off one day while I was  painting on a new home being constructed.

I put my paint brush in the bucket and went into an empty room.

As I was standing there, as usual, with my hands uplifted and my mind and thoughts quietly waiting,

God's presence manifested.

This time His presence was getting stronger and more apparent until Jesus Christ Himself was standing right on the right side of me.

I could feel Him present right there beside me as if you were standing next to me.

Even though my eyes were closed I could somehow see Him standing there visually.

His heart had rays of light coming out of it that were spreading out in all directions, going throughout the world and the universe.

I can't fully describe this but the rays of light were being experienced by me as "Love light."

This love was so great, combined with His personal presence, that I had tears flowing from my eyes as I fell to my knees.

I could feel those rays of light coming out of Jesus heart, passing through me, and experienced them as His warm radiant love.

The rays were going through out the entire creation from His heart.

Tears were flowing freely from my eyes as I was experiencing this theophany.

In my mind I recalled a brass heart with rays of light coming out of it that I had seen in a Catholic church once.

It was just like that!

Jesus great glowing light was penetrating all the way "to a people who sat in darkness."

Just as quickly as all of this happened it was over and Jesus was not standing next to me.

I was stunned by this experience.

While I was standing there and wondering about what had just happened and why it had happened, my friend Mike drove up outside and honked his horn.

We talked for a bit.

We came to the conclusion that we needed to go out into the quiet desert places and seek the Lord together.

This is how our Desert Ministry got it's start.

We would go once a month with other men into the desert with our four wheel drive trucks and spend the week end waiting upon the Lord and ministering to one another.

 Jesus is our great light!

We are honored and privileged to live in this Great Light.

I met two men today, one was our brother in Christ and I could see the light in his eyes.

The other man was not a Christian and I could see the darkness of this world in his eyes, he was not a bad person, just not born again.

 Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV)

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

It takes patience and persistence to quietly wait upon the Lord.

At first, when I started to wait upon the Lord, nothing happened, but eventually the Holy Spirit started manifesting.

Our Savior is the light of the world, a Great Light.

Let that light shine upon those things that trouble you.

Let that light shine upon all areas and aspects of your life.

Become acquainted with that name of Jesus a Great Light.

Read brother Lawrence short and simple book and start to wait upon the Lord.

People go to the gym to get physically fit.

People should also practice spiritual things.

1 Timothy 4:8
For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

Be bathed in that Great Light of our God!

Stop the sociopaths

What In The World Are They Spraying Us With!?

Global Climate Engineering.

Today started out clear but as the day progressed there were long lines of chemicals being from Jets that were not in the official flight paths, released in the upper atmosphere. By 3:00 PM the entire sky above was overcast and gloomy.

This happens all too frequently.

The people who are doing this to all of us are...

Question: "What does the Bible say about illegal immigration?"

Demographer William Frey explains how minorities are poised to re-map America.

As President Obama gets closer to taking executive action on immigration reform, Republicans say that he is ignoring the American people and provoking the GOP in the process.

Could it be time to invest in Chocolate farm stocks?

MARS inc is running out of chocolate.

There's no easy way to say this: You're eating too much chocolate, all of you.

And it's getting so out of hand that the world could be headed towards a potentially disastrous (if you love chocolate) scenario if it doesn't stop. ...

Chocolate deficits, whereby farmers produce less cocoa than the world eats, are becoming the norm. Already, we are in the midst of what could be the longest streak of consecutive chocolate deficits in more than 50 years.

It also looks like deficits aren't just carrying over from year-to-year—the industry expects them to grow. Last year, the world ate roughly 70,000 metric tons more cocoa than it produced.

By 2020, the two chocolate-makers warn that that number could swell to 1 million metric tons, a more than 14-fold increase; by 2030, they think the deficit could reach 2 million metric tons.

They reap what they have sown.

Glen A. Larson, the wildly successful television writer-producer whose enviable track record includes 'Six Million Dollar Man', Quincy M.E., Magnum, P.I., Battlestar Galactica, Knight Rider and The Fall Guy, has died.

He was 77. From the article: Battlestar Galactica lasted just one season on ABC from 1978-79, yet the show had an astronomical impact.

Starring Lorne Greene and Richard Hatch as leaders of a homeless fleet wandering through space, featuring special effects supervised by Star Wars’ John Dykstra and influenced by Larson’s Mormon beliefs, Battlestar premiered as a top 10 show and finished the year in the top 25.

But it was axed after 24 episodes because, Larson said, each episode cost “well over” $1 million.

It cost around three thousand dollars a second.

Battlestar Galactica was the most expensive TV program of it's day.

The viewer saw 45 minutes of the show peppered with 15 minutes of commercial interruptions.

The Names Of Our God: A Nail Fastened In A Sure Place

Isaiah 22:23King James Version (KJV)

23 And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house.

This is the whole of the Christian life on the head of a nail, driven into the flesh of the One who lived and died and rose again, so we would believe and love and have faith.

One of His names is "A nail fastened in a sure place."

Like the mountain climber who drives a ice piton into the wall that he relies upon, clings to and trust in to save him if he should slip, so is the nail driven in a sure place.

As a painter I have had to repair many a hole in 'un-sure' chalky dry wall because of nails and screws driven into the wall that got pulled out and no longer supported what was hung upon them.

In the book "The Wasted Vigil" a man ran away from the Soviet army in Afghanistan into which he was conscripted many years before.

The house he lived in had something unique in it. "On the wide ceiling are hundreds of books, each held in place by an iron nail hammered through it.

A spike driven through the pages of history,a spike through the pages of love, a spike through the sacred."
Nadeem Aslam's novel begins with the incredible image of a house with its ceilings covered by a man's entire collection of books.

Through intricate details like the ceilings of books, Aslam delicately immerses the reader into the recent history of Afghanistan.

It soon becomes apparent that the books are nailed out of reach so as not to be destroyed by the Taliban.

By attribution we have been nailed to the cross in Christ Jesus, the payment of our sins keeps us out of reach of the Judgment of God for sin because Christ has nailed them to that cross.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23).
Nailed into Christ Jesus and His payment of our sins, out of reach of the Judgment that has been paid by Him.

Him who was nailed to the sure place of the cross for our sins, the debt of those sins paid in full, having been nailed to that sure place of the cross.

We who are so precious in God's sight have been nailed to the cross in Christ Jesus to save us from our sins so that we would not be destroyed.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life ( John 3:16 ).

Jesus Christ is that nail driven in a sure place that we believe in, cling to, rely upon and trust in.
We can hang on to Him and be saved.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8 ).
The iron spike will corrode over time and let loose.

This nail of Jesus Christ is fastened in a sure place and never shall be removed from that sure place!

You will keep in perfect peace  those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in you ( clinging to that nail that You are and relying and trusting upon You).
Isaiah 26:3

But you remain the same, and your years will never end ( Psalm 102:27 ).

Always nailed in a sure place, never corroding and failing.

And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place,.... In a strong part of the wall or timber, where it shall not fail, or be removed, or cut down, and so let drop what is hung upon it.

All of us can depend on Him.

In eastern houses, rows of large spikes were built up in the walls.

Upon these the moveables and utensils were hung.

Our Lord Jesus is as a nail in a sure place.

That soul cannot perish, nor that concern fall to the ground, which is by faith hung upon Christ.

His Kingdom is an everlasting one, and his truths and ordinances unshaken and immovable: the sure place in which he is fixed is both his church, where he is the everlasting Head, Husband, and Saviour of it; and heaven, where he is, and will be retained, until the time of the restitution of all things:
He will set before the believer an open door, which no man can shut, and bring both body and soul to eternal glory.

But those who neglect so great salvation will find, that when he shutteth none can open, whether it be shutting out from heaven, or shutting up in hell for ever.

Christ is the brightness of his Father's glory; and, to them that believe, he is an honour; he is on a glorious throne himself, and he will bring all his Father's family to sit with him on the same throne.

What must I do to be saved and to cling to this nail of Jesus Christ Who is fastened in a sure place?
