GOD?

If there really was a god, wouldn’t he stop the rule of evil that causes human suffering?

People are beaten and tortured daily throughout the world.

Evil people are torturing innocent people, not to mention the natural sufferings of poverty, sickness and disease.

If there really was a god he must not be a loving god.

A loving god would not allow the triumph of hatred to prevail, unless of course his hands were tied rendering him helpless to help others.

Then he wouldn’t really be god anyway because he wouldn’t be all powerful—almighty.

Where is God in this polluted world and where is this heaven that he hides?

Is he ashamed to show his face?

His creation is a mess.

Who can challenge his sovereignty?

Who can contest his jealousy?

If indeed he did create us, why then do we question him?

If there really is only one god omnipotent: having virtually unlimited authority, we have no right to dispute him.

He is indisputably God even though he created man with free will.

Our complaining will never change the fact that the Lord our God is one God.

In His image, man was made with mind, will and emotion.

In the likeness of God we were created and by that likeness we can create.

We can use our mind to create a case against God or we can make up our mind to trust Him.

As for me and my house, we will follow the Lord.

Isaiah 49:23, "… and thou shalt know that I am the Lord: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me."
