John 5:19Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
John 15:5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
A train cannot go where there are no tracks...and yet we see many who try to do church on their own. They follow all logical methods. 'Build near freeway access...employ comfortable seating...have big plasma screens etc.
Sure we can get a crowd and full bank accounts...but are we accomplishing the task at hand? Is the world getting saved? Are we having impact on the world?
Are we using emotion to simulate the Holy Spirit's impact? Are we doing more marketing and making churches more convenient and less impacting. Building Mega~Churches that have no impact on the world around them for Christ. Fortresses with moats and draw bridges to keep the world at bay. A truly deadly substitute for the true church. Living symbolically instead of actually, having a form of godliness but denying the impact of it. 2 Tim 3:5.
Useless technology and methodology.
When we think of our nation as being unchangeable, that we can't make a diffrence, that our dream, our vision just takes too much out of us, then we end up in the prison of security.
Being on track with Christ, in the center of God's purpose for your life is the safest place there is.
Galatians 5:25If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Having a non~impact life is not the will of God for you! It is quite possible that you are not at all who you think you are, nor are you doing what you were ment to do.
Get back on track. Yielding to Holy Spirit, a very real person. There are millions of Christians in America and yet we are having very little impact.
So Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him, and let none of his words fall to the ground. 1 Samuel 3:19.
So the Philistines were subdued, and they did not come anymore into the territory of Israel. And the hand of the Lord was against the Philistines all the days of Samuel. 1 Samuel 7:13
Samuel's single life had a powerful impact.
Daniel was another whose powerful life forced changes by simply being present.
Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governers and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the King gave thought to setting him over the whole realm. Daniel 6:3
By contrast, we Christians, numbering millions, have been unable to force many changes in mainstream America, our society.
What happened to our impact, our authority over evil? Where are the Godly warriors? God is longing to send a fresh outpouring of His Spirit to launch a new offensive.
When power comes, that's impact.
An impact that will bring great glory to God. One life is all it takes to start the miracle. Are you ready?
We don't need better buildings or even more Christians but rather mighty acts coming out of buildings we already have and greater impact from believers who are already there.
Your unique impact will end the Sisyphean task in your life as a Christian. You will get results in ministry. Your opinion of yourself means nothing, He decides your true potential.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9.
God will exceed your own preconceived limits.
The Church is waiting for you. Our nation and everything we hold dear is threatened. Only a God sent outpouring expressed in mass effectiveness can save us now...
The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. Daniel 11:32. He should know.
Joel 1:14
Declare a holy fast; call a sacred assembly. Summon the elders and all who live in the land to the house of the LORD your God, and cry out to the LORD.
Luke 11:
9And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
10For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
10For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
The 'outpouring,' get it! Spend time praying for it. Release power of the Holy Spirit.
