Weather Control By Military

Military has a goal of weather control and is allowed to practice upon domestic populations. Interesting that the Bible tells us that the weather shall be diffrent in the last days. We are having the coldest weather of any recorded summer ever here in southern CA.

"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken." Luke 21:25-26

Signs have been occuring one after the other, people are truly afraid, and the governments and politicians are at a loss for what to do about all of the problems. Yet at the same time multitudes are saying that everything has gone on as it always has. But this is not true, even the director of FEMA, James Lee Witt, has said that weather related disasters have been increasing.
.
"Natural Disasters are getting more frequent and more severe, Federal Emergency Management Agency Director James Lee Witt said Tuesday, preaching a gospel of preparation and prevention for Americans." by Associated Press Writer Randolph E. Schmid on Wednesday May 24-2000.
.
An interesting document:

Take a closer look at the world around you! It is obviously not led by God, but rather filled with problems, evils, ills, misery and unhappiness of every kind. Christ warned, “And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars…and there shall be famines, and pestilences and earthquakes, in diverse [various] places” (Matt. 24:6-7).

None can doubt that these trends have now come to pass in a greater way than ever before. For instance, how often do we now hear of devastating earthquakes? One well-known television commentator stated that “for some reason” there are now more earthquakes occurring every day on earth. Seismologists record 12,000 separate, measurable earthquakes each day.

Christ said that, “Except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved [alive]: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened” (Matt. 24:22)!

Think! When has mankind held the capability to destroy all flesh? Only with the advent of modern nuclear, chemical, biological and now “radiological” weapons could this be possible. We live in an age when all of these are available—and nuclear weapons alone possess the capability, with the stockpiles that currently exist, to wipe out all mankind many times over! As one leader said, “Once would be quite enough.”

Some assert that these weapons are too terrible to ever be used—that they exist only as a “deterrent” against their use.

Do not be fooled! They will be used. Many prophecies make this clear. (Remember, the moment these weapons became available, and the United States felt it to be in their interest to use them, President Truman ordered it in August 1945—without hesitation! Yet, the two bombs that landed on Japan were little more than “firecrackers” by comparison to what exists today.)

It is no coincidence that the gospel was preached around the world precisely at the time when weapons of mass destruction became available—proving correct the timing of Christ’s warning about the danger to the survival of all humanity!

We had breakfast today with a very nice Christian woman. The topic of spiritual gifts came up and it became apparent to me that the gifts were not active in her Christian world view. I left some what frustrated.

I run across different Christians in my daily walk and after a few minutes with them can sometimes get a picture of their belief structure. One guy a few days ago served a mechanistic God. He was not truly in a father son relationship with God in his Christian world view. More of a rule following relationship with not much personal autonomy allowed. One thing this fella said to me, "I don't think that we can ask God for something."

Anyway...

Here is a good starting place for anyone who believes that the gifits of the Holy Spirit are not for today:

From the "Do as I say, don't do as I do" files:
"The US Copyright Group — a company owned by intellectual property lawyers, which has been in the news for threatening downloaders of the movie Hurt Locker
— has apparently stolen their site from a competitor.
At one point, even the competitor's phone number and copyright statement were copied word for word on USCG's 'settlement' website. The competitor is reportedly going to send a Cease & Desist."

It would seem that God has chosen not to heal very often in our present day. Those who know better than that, have in an attempt to bring healing, brought much opposition upon themselves and the body of Christ. To some, it is viewed as a reproach against the church, to others it is simply the offence of the cross.

Faith for divine healing is always met with the majority opposing it. Whether, saved or unsaved, people have immediate doubt when they cannot see immediate results. Though they are also uncertain about Medical science, and need several doctors’ opinions, they still feel they are more likely to get results from doctors. Prayer is usually secondary, and all forms of spiritual activity are postponed until all else fails.

In medical science, doctors are revered for administering treatment, more than ministers are for offering the prayer of faith. Even in the face of conflicting reports, doctors are treated like gods.

People get sick, and people die, with or without medical science; yet, many times, healing ministries are ridiculed and God is blamed. When faith for the miraculous is overlooked, earnest prayer becomes a last resort. Certainly, there are times we need medical attention, but more certain than that we always need prayer.

The legal prescription, drug lords of America, advertise heavily for their multi billion dollar drug trafficking industry. When Jesus, the great physician, begins to release His healing virtue in these last days, it will be a major threat to the legalized drug pushing industry. Christians will be arrested and even killed for administering Divine Healing.

Hospitals are in the healing business. They make their money by treating illnesses to the best of their ability. It is both noble and necessary in a world that is riddled with sickness and disease. I commend them for their compassion, sympathy and devotion. Not all doctors are corrupt; not all preachers and not all priests.

There is a pure and true healing ministry that will burst on the last day’s scene in such power that multitudes will bypass medical science in search of the divine. This will cause such an upheaval in the world of merchandising miracle drugs that it will launch a multi million dollar effort to discredit and stop Christian from (what they will call) practicing medicine without a license.

Many, who understand the validity of natural cures, can appreciate what I am saying. Insurance companies are largely cooperating with muscling out natural cures; by not insuring those who prefer that type of treatment over expensive prescriptions that may lead to addiction and possible side effects.

Soon the world will witness Jesus Christ as the healer of all their diseases. That same Jesus, who lives in every believer by God’s Holy Spirit, will be persecuted to a degree never thought possible in a civilized world. If the love of money is the hidden root of all evil, you can imagine what the visible fruit of that tree might be.

Tilson

I found this testimony in my archives. Barbara Shlemon, a nurse, tells the story.

One night in 1964 the Lord taught me a lesson about His love which was to change my ideas about suffering and, ultimately, the course of my life. As a professional nurse, I was assigned to the evening shift of a medical surgical ward in a small Midwest hospital. The report we received from the day shift showed one patient in a comatose condition who would probably expire during the night.

The situation was particularly sad because the patient was a young mother of three small children who had put up a valient fight for her life during her stay in the hospital. As I entered her room to check the flow of her intravenous bottles, I was overcome with sorrow at the sight.

The woman's weight had dropped to 90 pounds, most of it concentrated in fluid in her abdomen, which gave her the appearance of a nine month pregnancy. Her arms and legs were like toothpicks; she had lost all the hair on her body, and jaundice colored her skin a deep yellow. She did not appear to respond to any kind of stimuli, and her breathing was shallow and irregular.

I glanced at her husband across the room and wished there were words which could convey to him some comfort. The death of his wife seemed very near.

Back at the nurse's station I confessed my feelings of inadequacy to Harriet Saxton, the other nurse on duty with me. She agreed that the situation was grave but she didn't believe it was hopeless. I knew Harriet to be a devote Episcopalian with a deep faith that God really answered prayer. I felt, however, that she was being unrealistic in believing God could or would intervene in this case.

Undaunted by my skepticism, she approached the husband with the suggstion that he contact his parish priest to anoint his wife with the sacrament of 'extreme unction.'

For many years this sacrament of anointing with oil was looked upon as a preparation for death, the final unction. Harriet explained that the Vatican Council had undertaken to return the concept of this sacrament to it's original emphasis, the sacrament of the sick. It was to be administered as a means of healing.

The husband took a long while to consider this action and finally decided there was no other recourse. The priest who answered the call was at the hospital within minutes. An elderly man, pastor of the local Catholic church, he quietly read through the Latin ritual, pausing at intervals to apply the holy oil to the sick woman's body. He also brought the Holy Eucharist with him in the form of a small host, but the woman was in too deep a coma to accept it. The priest gently touched it to her lips and left the hospital.

The whole procedure had only taken minutes, no visible changes had occurred in the patient's condition, and I went off duty that night thinking we had instilled false hope in a hopeless case.

The next afternoon found me back on duty. As I walked past the dying woman's room, I glanced in and froze in my tracks. She was sitting up at the side of the bed sipping soup. I couldn't believe it!

The day nurse walking past me said, matter of factly, "She took a turn for the better last night." My intiation into the healing power of Jesus Christ had begun and I could hardly contain my curiosity about the subject. I began reading the scriptures and discovered the great number of gospel texts concerned with healings. It had never occurred to me that such phenomena could be possible in the 2oth century.

Armor...
.
Three additional pieces of armor are available for the Christian. One is the helmet of salavation (Eph.6:17). It naturally covers the head, with its capacity to think, to plan, to accomplish. Salvation of the intellect is an important part of redemption. we are cleansed by the blood of Christ. In a sense, we have a "new head" with new powers. It is with renewed mental abilities, which are God-given and God-empowered, that we are able to resist the attacks of the devil; to think through his strategy and to seek the Lord's defenses against him.
.
The greatest piece of armor is our shining shield, "the sheild of faith" (6:16). Faith is confidence in God's promises, reliance upon His supernatural help, trust in His backing, belief that the battle is not ours but the Lord's (II Chron.20:17). The sheild of faith is our acknowledgement that we depend upon God to deflect the fiery darts, the flaming arrows, of the devil, which would not only wound us sorely, but also make us incapable of futhur combat.
.
Another invaluable weapon is the sword (Eph. 6:17). Spiritually speaking, this is the Word of God, the sword of the Spirit, the Bible. All of the armor described up to this point is defensive. But the sword is an offensive as well as defensive weapon. In close combat, hand to hand so to speak, we may defend ourselves against the enemy by the use of Scripture, even if only to quote words of the Bible. The outstanding example of this very usage in defense against the devil was the Lord's own during the temptation (Matt. 4:1-11). Three times during the devil's onslaughts against Him, the Lord Jesus Christ wielded this Sword, the written Word of God, which He quoted verbatim. The result was the devil's complete rout.
.
The great importance of prayer is also emphasized:"Keep on praying in the Spirit, with every kind of prayer and entreaty, at every opportunity, be ever on the alert with perfect devotion and entreaty for all God's people, and for me..." (6:18, Williams).
.
In the great warfare, between the Christian and Satan, there is provided a private "walkie-talkie" to the very throne of grace. Amazingly enough, the ear of God is always open to our call for backup in the name of Jesus. When under heavy attack, we need only to send out our S.O.S.! (*Sending out an S.O.S.*sung by sting.) We may request guidance or just ask for encouragement and courage. It is comforting, indeed, to know that the Captain of our salvation has never lost a battle. He will not let us lose one either, if we call upon Him. The pages of the Book of God are filled with accounts of battles won through prayer.

Poison~pill to spammers...
An E~mail spam cure.
Email harvesting bots, otherwise known as data miners, follow links, grabbing email addresses out of each page it visits. When one of these bots comes to your site, all sites you've linked get crawled for email addresses.

Use the bottom link in any of your public internet postings to end e~mail spam.

This site renders these harvester's lists useless by filling them with invalid e-mail addresses. Once a spammer hits this site, they enter an infinite loop of randomly created email addresses (starting with the ones it generates when it first comes to the site) Once a mailing list has been poisoned with a number of invalid e-mail addresses, the resources required to send a message to this list increases, even though the number of valid recipients has not. This forces the spammer to exhaust more resources to send e-mail, in theory costing the spammer money and time. A best-case scenario would cause the spammer to throw out the mailing lists completely.

If you link to this page, whenever a harvester visits your site, it gets filled up with superfluous email addresses. These email addresses change every time this page is visited.

Here is the link data miner bot boy, enjoy!

And there is also the very effective snail mail spam cure:

Blessed To STill Be Alive

I waited and waited and when no message came I knew it must be from you.

Ever have the feeling that God is silent when it comes to yourself? You know all these people that say, "God spoke to me and He told me..." But you never quite have that kind of an experience with God yourself.

What exactly is the language of God to me. Yes, I have a Bible and I read it. And yes God does speak to us through His Word, the Bible.

God also speaks to us through other ways. Silent circumstances that are 'highlited' by the Holy Spirit can speak clearly if we are aware of them as such. You know, "Let him who has an ear hear..."

God is and always is still seated on His throne and is always applying the sovereignty of God to our lives in ways that we may not perceive. He does speak in the silences of life. Always transforming us into the image of His Son Jesus Christ.

Yesterday I was driving my small Ford Ranger truck in the fast lane of the freeway, going about 65 MPH. Suddenly there was this very loud 'Wham' on my side window near my face, then a crackling sound as the window completely obscured and cracked into small segments. Naturally it caught me off guard.

I was near the police dept so I drove there to report it, just in case others may be having the same experience on that stretch of the freeway. Here in the LA ~ Orange County area there have been incidents of people throwing rocks at vehicles at times.

As I drove away from the police station I started to think about what had happened. Adjacent where my window got hit there is a golf course. I think that perhaps an arrant golf ball may have hit my window, a long drive.

My window was up because a few weeks ago I got some air conditioner stuff and recharged my air conditioner so I could use it since it is summer now. If I had not done that, my window would have been down today and the object that broke my window may have hit me in the temple and killed me. Or it could have just knocked me out...and we all know how that could have turned out. I came to the realization that my life had been spared either way.

Another thing that I thought about was the fact that there is an after market Mylar window tint film on the inside of that broken window that kept the thousands of small pieces of glass from flying into my eyes.  And it kept me from getting hit by the object. It actually gave the window strength to resist the hard impact and deflected what ever had hit it so that it did not enter the vehicle. What if there had not been any Mylar?

I believe God had spared me one more time...oh ya there have been so many other times. Like the time when a car ran into a large diesel truck hauler on the freeway in front of me.  I was heading right into the mess before I could even react and hit the breaks.Suddenly I find myself driving along on the other side of the accident. In split second timing I was transported to the other side of the crash when by all normal rules of this earth I would have been part of the accident. I saw that I was just about to become part of the mess and then there I am safely driving away from it, looking in my rear view mirror to confirm to myself that there indeed was an accident. There was absolutely no way that I drove through the accident. It was a wall of fire in front of me that I was heading straight for. The fact that I was still breathing meant He wasn’t done with me…God was in charge, He was at work and nothing could stay His hand or thwart His purpose.

God speaks loudly to me through these incidents. I am loved and anything has to pass through His nail pierced hands before it is allowed to get to me. Yes God can and does speak to us outside of the Bible as well as within the Bible.

So pay attention, watch for those highlites of the Holy Spirit. God speaks in the silences like no other can!

Version 2

A church for young people

Thursday, July 22, 2010

Anyone who has ever had the incredible experience of attending one of the healing services that Kathryn Kuhlman conducted, at the Shrine auditorium in Los Angeles, knows about the atmosphere that filled the place.

It was such that every person present knew this was no ordinary Christian service. There was a sense of eternity mixed with wonder as the hustle and bustle of the world outside penetrated the building. But inside the quiet stillness was powerful and all encompassing as Kathryn would declare, "Not a sound in this great auditorium, not one sound."

The atmosphere was charged with Almighty God Himself! Most of God's dealings with men, both in saving and healing are by the outpouring of His Spirit and through a Spirit~filled, united, and praying gathering of believers. His method is revealed by the promise, "I will pour out My Spirit," and the statement, "They were all filled with the Spirit." A spirit~filled and praying gathering of Christians produces an atmosphere in which it is easy for God to work. This makes it difficult for the devil to interfere. This atmosphere is the Holy Spirit Himself. Not a force, not a power, but a Person. A Person who is more than a match for the devil.

In the revival belt, during the Finney revivals and other great revivals, sinners fell under conviction as soon as they stepped off the train where a revival was in progress. Mr Finney tells of such unity in prayer that every adult person on a street three miles long was saved, except one. The Christians united for that one, and he was saved.

It is true that individuals are sometimes saved and healed where there is no revival. However, God's regular method was and is for His people all to pray for an outpouring of the Holy spirit. We read, "These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication." We seldom see such a thing now!

Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa started like this, Shekinah Fellowship started like this, a lot of moves of God started like this.

Unless our gatherings together become filled with the Holy Spirit and kept filled with the Holy Spirit, it is impossible that the spiritual atmosphere of the meetings can be what it must be. Otherwise, God is limited or hindered. This atmosphere is produced by the whole gathering of Christians being filled with the Spirit and all praying for the work of Christ. Then the power of God is present to heal as it was at the beginning. God's way is for the whole Church to be filled and kept filled with the same Holy Spirit who saved and healed those multitudes in New Testament times.

John says, "This is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us."

Are we doing this together as a whole Church? Every Christian today is commanded to be filled with the Holy Spirit, to pray for the outpouring of the Spirit, and to prevail in prayer for the healing of the sick. Our being filled with the Holy Spirit is the condition for His perfect working.

The Church is out of tune with God's program and is promoting their own program...

You can see it for yourself. All the e~mails promoting and advertising we get through the social media etc. What one does to make a ministry is what one must do to continue a ministry. If self promotion then continuous self promotion. If simple trust in God then continuous trust in God.

“I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ liveth within me, and the life I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.”

"What is all the fame and flattery worth ... when a man comes to face eternity? Some want to live within the sound of church or chapel bell; I want to run a rescue shop within a yard of hell."
Charles Studd

We all should be desiring of the manifested presence of the Holy Spirit. Then stuff will happen that will break through the powers of this earth and reveal Almighty God to a fallen humanity.

http://blog.beliefnet.com/bibleandculture/2010/07/lands-of-the-bible-2010---inside-the-cave-churches.html
"Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content."

There is a movement in the midst of Christendom that deeply disturbs me, not just because I believe that it is based on a couple of false premises, but because it seems that so many people are slipping into its clutches. I have seen a number of once passionate Christians fall prey to this false teaching, though it would seem that any believer with the slightest bit of discernment would see right through it.
It has been called the 'word-faith' movement, the 'prosperity' movement, the 'name it-claim it' or 'blab it and grab it' doctrine, and more. It certainly appeals to the flesh, but it will be of no interest to a believer who truly desires to follow Christ, unless and until that believer begins to lose his or her passion for the Savior. Jesus said, in Matthew 16:24, "If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me."

This flies right in the face of perpetrators of the word-faith teaching. They will tell you that it is your right as a Christian to always be healthy and to prosper financially. I heard a preacher friend of my brother-in-law tell him, "I'm making more money now without trying, than I ever did before, no matter how hard I tried. I've got a nice new car, and I never plan on being sick." He went on for a while, but not one word in that long conversation came out of that man's mouth about sin, heaven, hell, or the precious blood of Christ. So much for denying one's self and taking up his cross, and FOLLOWING Him...but as deceiving and damnable as this teaching is, it doesn't end there. They also teach that faith is a force, and that your words are vehicles of that force. I actually heard a well known preacher say, "you'll think twice before saying, 'that scares me half to death'!" Ridiculous!

I was a short-term recipient of a form of this perverted teaching many years ago.
Some of the people in the church I attended would warn me, "Watch what you confess! The devil can hear you, and you don't want to bring bad things on yourself by confessing negative things!" I wasn't a victim of that mentality for very long. As I studied the bible, I'd read, among other things, about David's pleadings with the Lord in the psalms, about our Savior prayer to the Father in the garden, and I realized then that I was free to 'let loose' with the Lord, that I could tell Him when I was afraid, when I was lonely, sad, or whatever, and not only would He NOT rebuke me for being 'negative', but He would actually welcome and comfort me in whatever I was dealing with at that particular time! Believer, God knows everything about you- the good, the bad, and the ugly, and there's nothing that you can't verbally share with Him- joy, sadness, frustration, spontaneous praise, it doesn't matter! There's nothing that He doesn't want you to be open with Him about. He wants an intimate love relationship with you and He wants you to trust Him with your deepest thoughts and concerns...

Do you now see how the enemy of your soul attempts to sneak in and steal your joy, to keep you from being open and honest before the Lord? Do you see how he will pervert the gospel and try to entice you to believe lies, and then to pass it off as the gospel? And doesn't that make you mad?....

As for the purveyors of this damnable heresy, shame on you! Return to the Lover of your souls and and repent now. Christ died to save you from your sins, and rose again from the dead to give you eternal life. Take up your cross and follow Him...Now, to those believers who want Christ more than anything, be 'wise as serpents, and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16)'. God bless and be with you-
En Agape,

pastor Jim Ewing

Day Seven

The Illegal Trial Of Jesus Christ

The Arrest Was Without Authority
Location:
People's Court
Shekinah Fellowship
Room 101
Ms Suzy, Jurist in this court room:
"Then the band and captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus and bound Him."
Jesus had just left the garden of Gethsemane, at the foot of the Mount of Olives, near Jerusalem, shortly after the midnight hour, when His arrest was effected. They had no warrant, nor authority of arrest whatsoever. And the seizing and binding of the Christ was not done, as was customary, by two or three representatives of justice; for Matthew tells us:

"Judas, one of the twelve, came , and with him a great multitude, with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people."

The "great multitude" consisted not only of a large group of Roman soldiers, with drawn swords and staves, but several hundred members of the Levitical police, as well as members of the Great Sanhedrin- carrying lanterns and torches clearly establishing the fact that the arrest was made at night; and they evidently thought that they might have to search for Jesus among the orchards of the Garden of Gethsemane, where Judas had told them He probably would be found at that time, in prayer to His Heavenly Father.

Little did it matter to the arch rival traitor that he was guiding the crowd to the hallowed santuary of the Son of God. Nor was he the least concerned over his deliberately profaning the passover, which, to the Jews, was the most sacred Season of the whole year! Judas had to earn his fee- had to seal the deal- in order to retain the filthy pieces of silver. And, apparently, nothing else mattered with him.

Why the large group of soldiers and the captain and officers, and others, with drawn swords and staves? Were they expecting to engage in battle? Or that the Christ would resist their efforts and flee?

After having effected the arrest, in absolute violation of law, because of the absence of a warrant therefore (not unlike USA in this our time), they did not even tell the Christ for what He had been apprehended, This, of necessity, was true because there had not been preferred any charge of any kind against Jesus before the Jewish court.

Was a warrant, or some kind of written authority required, before making a lawful arrest?
When Saul of Tarsus, the great convert, was on his way to Damascus to arrest and take back to Jerusalem any Christians he might find, that he might persecute them, we note that he had to first get his authority for their arrest by applying to the high priest.

"And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, and desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of the way, (followers of Christ), whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem."
Again, in Scripture, we note this:

"I went to Damascus with the authority and commission from the high priest."
Before Saul could arrest those early Christians, that they might be bound and brought to Jerusalem, for persecution, he had to first obtain the "authority and commission" from the high priest.

Why, then, was no authority for the arrest of Jesus issued by the high priest? Simply because none could lawfully issue until, and only until, some criminal charge had been made before the Sanhedrin. Never has there been an exception to this basic rule concerning the issuance of a writ for one’s arrest. Had the Christ been seen in the act of committing some crime, then the arrest could have been made without a warrant- but, as it will be admitted, He was certainly no law-violator, and was merely leaving the Garden of Gethsemane when the Roman soldiers took Him and bound Him like a common criminal!

And their coming to apprehend Him was no surprise to Jesus. He had, several days before, related to His disciples just what would happen, and how- and even told them that they would leave Him, all alone, at the time of His arrest by that mob of men. This was in keeping with the prophesy. So, instead of displaying any kind of resistence, Jesus quietly turned to His disciples and said:

"Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners."

Then, like the brave Character that He was, we see Him standing erect, His countenance aglow in the moonlight, as He made the inquiry: "Whom seek ye?" And when they replied that they sought Jesus of Nazareth, He said: "I am HE."

Immediately as Jesus identified Himself as the one Whom they sought, we are told that they everyone fell to the ground on their faces. This, no doubt, was the shock which came to them when conscious of being in the personal presence of the Son of God! Overpowered by the Spirit of God! And after a moment, regaining composure, they arose, and Jesus once more asked them the same question:

"Whom seek ye?" And they said: "Jesus of Nazareth." Then the Master said: "I have told you that I am He. If therefore you seek Me, let these go their way."

Being completely unafraid, the christ was perfectly willing to bear His cross, alone. Hence He requested that His disciples not be apprehended. And then what happened to those disciples?
"And they all forsook Him and fled!"

And, as we shall later note, the Christ was thereafter left alone, in so far as humankind is concerned- but He was never left alone by His Heavenly Father, Whose will He was determined to fulfill, without counting the cost nor the pain!

As we get a mental picture of the hasty flight of those eleven disciples- the men who had been so intimately associated with Jesus for those three years of His ministry- we are reminded of a present-day truth: that the crowds will follow, like blind men, their hero in his days of great triumph, but will leave Him at the first clear sign of adversity.

If the enemies of Jesus had intended to conduct a legal trial, giving unto their prisoner all of the substantial rights guaranteed by the Hebrew laws, then there would have been some specific charge made against the Christ; and a warrant for His arrest would have issued.

But we must conclude that it was more of a capture than an arrest. It was a matter of seizing one in the nighttime for the sole purpose of doing away with Him. It was the beginning of a dastardly scheme, born of a cowardly conspiracy, entered into by corrupt and evil men. Indeed, the judgment of condemnation of the Christ was agreed to long before His apprehension by the mob. Therefore, the illegal arrest as will be seen, was the least of the many sins committed by those individuals who were referred to by Jesus as "Sinful men". Truly He placed them in the right category!
Anyone care to comment on this? atheism brings up a valid point from their perspective:
If God told President Bush to invade Iraq, why has the war been a miserable failure?

Satan's Future...

The destiny of Satan is as sure as his past. God has pre-written his end. There seems little doubt that in the closing days of this present age of grace, the devil's pernicious activities against the cause of God will be increased greatly (Rev. 12:12).

Not only does Satan continue to direct the vast network of antiGod control over the world with its manifold ramifications, but his particular animosity is expressed against the Gospel of Christ and those who proclaim it (II Cor. 4:4).

Satan's supernatural, uncanny and penetrating knowledge should never be underestimated. His special delight is to bring about the falling into sin and consequent uselessness of the Christian worker. Knowing full well that within Christians there remains the old sinful nature, the devil uses this means of leading the Lord's people into compromise and sin. No Christian in himself is a match for this sinister enemy.

With regard to most of the world's activities, that enormous breadth of endavor and accomplishment, Satan's plan has been that of subtitution. He has used the great advances of science and other achievements. Education has come under his special favor. The emphasis has been upon man's accomplishments without regard to God's enablement.

Man's selfish pride and love of self have been encouraged to the full. Anything and everything which contributes to man's self~praise and self~worship have been given wide publicity and acceptance. On the other hand, anything which would tend to show sinful character of the human heart, and the desperate need of the saving grace of God, has been sidetracked, soft-pedaled, and mocked by the devil.

It is well to repeat: Satan still has access to the very throne of God in heaven. Frequently he goes there to accuse the saints of unrighteousness (Job 1:6-10). Notice Revelation 12:9,10, wherein is described the great accuser's eventual fall:

"And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpant, called the devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world; he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven. Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ; for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night."

Satan's warfare against believers is unceasing. Were it not for the defense of our great Advocate, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Christian's position would be in jeopardy (Heb. 7:25).
Pentecostals misuse the gifts of the Spirit more than any other group of people on earth; possibly even more than all other denominations combined. I say this not to their shame, but rather to their honor.
The more cars you have on a freeway the more likely you are to have accidents; the more vehicles, the more traffic violations. I commend the Pentecostal churches for their deep conviction concerning the validity of God’s gifts for today and for the risk they take in allowing them to operate within their denomination.
When it comes to most other denominations the freeway is not very well traveled and for the most part, closed altogether. When man in his religious endeavor blocks every on- ramp to the manifested presence of God, it creates some serious side effects. Young people, who are soon to become the next generation, become programmed by unbelief to think less and less of anything spiritual. They follow the detour signs set by their peers that reroute the traffic around any type of spiritual encounter with God.
No one learns to walk without first falling. The safest way to avoid falling would be to stay crawling. Imagine a grown man scooting around on his belly all his life and never walking. The monkey bars at a grade school are not completely safe for kids to play on but the experience they gain makes it worthwhile. The element of risk involved teaches the kids ‘cause and effect’ and how to deal with safety and danger.
When the church removes the monkey bars from the little children and blocks the freeway on-ramps from the youth spiritually, two things happen. They never climb very high and they never travel very far.
If you are a parent whose children attend church regularly, ask them what they know about something simple like speaking in tongues. If they know nothing, find a new church.
Any Bible believing church should declare the full counsel of God; that is why they call them ‘Full Gospel’. In Africa they have Baptist, full gospel churches. Young people come up to you and ask, “Pray me to receive language from heaven.”

Even the world recognizes that it is important to forgive:
Luke 6:37Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
It is your choice, which side of these issues you will you be on.
