Scott Shaw

Wow...this guy has an axe to grind. What an insulting little man!
http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~emcd/AlphaRoots_Frisbee.htm

I especially took note of his supposedly USA description of "after glow." My recollection of Lonnie Frisbee's usage of the term had the meaning of a secondary service after the main service because everyone was so filled with the Holy Spirit that they did not want to go home just yet after the first service. So Lonnie came up with the idea of a secondary service which he decided to name an "After glow."

Typically Lonnie would start the after glow with the lights dimmed down and instruct everyone to sing this song:

Rule over my soul
Sweet Spirit rule over my soul

My rest is complete as I sit at your feet
Sweet Spirit rule over my soul.

I don't recall the rest of the song but you get the idea. Lonnie wanted to bring all of us into a reverence towards God and then he would teach about the biblical gifts of the Holy Spirit and make an opportunity to exercise these gifts in a group setting. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this format. Many people received the baptism of the Holy Spirit during these after glows and were draw closer to Jesus Christ in their particular walks with God.

There are thousands of Christians today that received the gospel message through Lonnie Frisbee. Anyone who knew Frisbee can plainly see that Scott Shaw speaks out of his own mind about things he knows nothing about . He was not there, I and thousands of others were there. We know the truth.

The Holy Spirit often would manifest His presence during the after glows. All of us who were there know that Scott Shaw doesn't have a clue about those after glows. And I suspect he isn't open to the truth about them, just reading what he has written about Lonnie Frisbee.

O...and another thing...Sandy Hoxhurst was a young girl who had inherited a lot of money. She would follow Lonnie around the world where ever he would go to minister bacause she could. She eventually became a nuisance person to Lonnie at that time, so he rebuked her at an airport one day. She got offended and made up a story of how Lonnie had come on to her and had touched her breast. How do I know this? Because both Lonnie and Sandy told me the story...only Sandy confessed to me that she had lied about Lonnie. Amazing to me how that lie has come on down through the years.

Here is Lonnie in his own words so you can see how far off the mark Scott Shaw is! You decide for yourself if Scott Shaw is grinding an axe...
