Jesus Christ Is The Way The Truth And The Life

"While his union address covered a wide range of topics, President Obama made sure not to skip over the U.S.'s space program. The talking point was nearly identical to the one he gave in 2009, in which he called for space  spending to be increased past the levels seen during the the original cold war space race. Now, 4 years after that speech, it appears things have gone the opposite way. Since 2009 NASA has seen some serious cuts. Not only has the space-shuttle program been deactivated, but the agency was forced to endure harsh funding cuts during the presidents latter term. Despite an ominous history, it now seems that Obama is back on the space objective, pushing congress to increase non-defensive  spending to 3% of the U.S. GDP. It's important to keep in mind that not all of this money goes directly to space related programs, though under the proposed budget the National Science Foundation, Department of Energy Office of Science, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology Laboratories will have their budgets doubled. There will also be an increase in tax credits towards companies and organizations working on these  projects. Should the U.S. go back to its 'Let's put a man on the moon' ideology, or is the federal government fighting an uphill battle against newly emerging private space expeditions? Either way, the question remains whether or not Obama will act on any of the propositions."

And sinful man continues his deceptions...

I seriously believe that mankind has been confined to the planet earth by the Master Creator by divine design. The outer layers of the sun shoot out radiation called the solar wind. The earth's magnetic field protects us from this solar wind.

There is a pocket around the earth called the magnetosphere where mankind can be safe from solar wind in near earth orbit. If anyone were to go outside of this God designed boundary system they would be radiated with fatal exposures of radiation from the solar wind.

 The region of space dominated by the Earth's magnetic field  largely prevents the solar wind from entering. However, some high energy charged particles from the solar wind leak into the magnetosphere and are the source of the charged particles trapped in the Van Allen belts. The radiation belts of the Earth are made up of electrons, protons and heavier atomic ions. It is these dounut shaped belts surrounding our planet that God installed to keep mankind from ever leaving the planet earth. Much the same as Adam being prevented from entering the garden of Eden after he disobeyed God.

After the Fall had occurred and the verdict of death announced against Adam and Eve, we are told that God drove them away from the tree of life and out of the Garden of Eden. He then placed a guard at the Garden.

So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life (Genesis 3:24).

The flaming sword, going in every direction, speaks of the wrath of God that will hit everything in its path. Nothing can escape it. Adam and Eve would die if they were to enter the flaming sword region.

Adam and Eve were banished from Eden as punishment for their sin. Why were they driven out? Why did God place the guard at the Garden of Eden to keep Adam and Eve from eating of the tree of life? Who were the cherubim placed to keep them from reentering Eden? Why were they kept away? There are several possible answers.

God's Mercy
The banishment from the Garden was an act of God's mercy. Eating from the tree would not have reversed the effects of their sin. It would not have solved their problem, it would have sealed their fate. For some unexplained reason, eating of the tree of life would have doomed them to an eternal state of sin. Therefore, God in His mercy kept them out of the Garden once they were banished.

Quite possibly God  keeps mankind confined to planet earth as an act of mercy.

The first man, Adam, was created from the dust of the earth. The earth is in all of us, we are made with earth in us. We are not made with Mars in us, nor are we made with Moon in us or any other planet in us.

(Genesis 3:19) “In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” 

 What are the scientific proof that man’s body came from the dust of the ground, as the Bible says? The human body is made up of materials and minerals found on the surface of the ground, and not from the core of the earth. Oxygen, being the most abundant element on the earth’s crust or on the ground, makes up 65 percent of the human body, and carbon, also abundant on the top soil of the ground, is 18 percent, and hydrogen is 10 percent. The 59 elements found in the human body are all found on the earths crust. This is amazing because what the Bible says perfectly match the scientific composition of a human body.

(Job 10:9) “Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again?” 

(Romans 9:20-21) “Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor?” 

  The proportions of the abundance of the 59 elements on the earths crust, is amazingly represented in its presence in the human body. Who says that the Bible is not scientific?

Mankind will always remain upon the earth only to return to the dust of the earth at death. He does not return to any other planet at death, only the earth that he is made out of according to the scriptures. The rapture is another story.

Humankind has tried to get through another one of God's barriers surrounding the earth unsuccessfully. In much the same way as Adam's garden cherubim sword that turns every way blocking entrance to the garden of Eden, there is a barrier like a dounut every way around the earth that guards the way to space. Mechanical devices get past the radioactive (flaming) region, but nothing living can get past and live.

The historical records at the Smithsonian show that back in the summer of 1962, the U.S. blew up a hydrogen bomb  in outer space, some 250 miles above the Pacific Ocean. The scientist knew of the radiation belts that are blocking mankind from entering outer space and wanted to see if it were possible to blow a hole in the radioactive belts. All the bomb did was add to the radiation of the belts.

Code-named "Starfish Prime" by the military, it literally created an artificial extension of the Van Allen belts that could be seen across the Pacific Ocean, from Hawaii to New Zealand.

In Honolulu, the explosions were front page news. "N-Blast Tonight May Be Dazzling: Good View Likely," said the Honolulu Advertiser. Hotels held what they called "Rainbow Bomb Parties" on rooftops and verandas. When the bomb burst, people told of blackouts and strange electrical malfunctions, like garage doors opening and closing on their own. But the big show was in the sky.



In the fifty minutes that followed, witnesses from Hawaii to New Zealand were treated to a carnival of color as the sky was illuminated in magnificent rainbow stripes and an artificial aurora borealis. With a yield of 1.45 megatons, the hydrogen bomb was approximately 100 times more powerful than the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima 17 years before.

Yet scientists underestimated the effects of the bomb and the resulting radiation. Knowledge of radiation in space was still fragmentary and new. It was only four years before that James A. Van Allen, a University of Iowa physicist who had been experimenting with Geiger counters on satellites, claimed to have discovered that the planet was encircled by a “deadly band of X-rays,” and that radiation from the sun “hit the satellites so rapidly and furiously” that the devices jammed. Van Allen announced his findings on May 1, 1958, at a joint meeting of the National Academy of Sciences and the American Physical Society, and the following day, the Chicago Tribune bannered the headline, “Radiation Belt Dims Hope of Space Travel.”

The story continued: “Death, lurking in a belt of unexpectedly heavy radiation about 700 miles above the earth, today dimmed man’s dreams of conquering outer space.” News of the “hot band of peril” immediately cast doubt on whether Laika, the Russian dog, would have been able to survive for a week in space aboard Sputnik II, as the Soviets claimed, in November of 1957. (The Soviets said that after six days, the dog’s oxygen ran out and she was euthanized with poisoned food.

 It was later learned that Laika, the first live animal to be launched into space, died just hours after the launch from overheating and stress, when a malfunction in the capsule caused the temperature to rise.) What Van Allen had discovered were the bands of high-energy particles that were held in place by strong magnetic fields, and soon known as the Van Allen Belts.

A year later, he appeared on the cover of Time magazine as he opened an entirely new field of research—magnetospheric physics—and catapulted the United States into the race to space with the Soviet Union. On the same day Van Allen held his press conference in May 1958, he agreed to cooperate with the U.S. military on a top-secret project. The plan: to send atomic bombs into space in an attempt to blow up the Van Allen Belts, or to at least disrupt them with a massive blast of nuclear energy. Then it was believed that man could safely pass through after the belts were obliterated.

 Just after 11 p.m. Honolulu time on July 9, the 1.45-megaton hydrogen bomb was detonated thirteen minutes after launch. Almost immediately, an electromagnetic pulse knocked out electrical service in Hawaii, nearly 1,000 miles away. Telephone service was disrupted, streetlights were down and burglar alarms were set off by a pulse that was much larger than scientists expected.

Suddenly, the sky above the Pacific was illuminated by bright auroral phenomena. “For three minutes after the blast,” one reporter in Honolulu wrote, “the moon was centered in a sky partly blood-red and partly pink. Clouds appeared as dark silhouettes against the lighted sky.” Another witness said, “A brilliant white flash burned through the clouds rapidly changing to an expanding green ball of irradiance extending into the clear sky above the overcast.”

 Others as far away as the Fiji Islands—2,000 miles from Johnston Island—described the light show as “breathtaking.”

In Maui, a woman observed auroral lights that lasted a half hour in “a steady display, not pulsating or flickering, taking the shape of a gigantic V and shading from yellow at the start to dull red, then to icy blue and finally to white.”

“To our great surprise and dismay, it developed that Starfish added significantly to the electrons in the Van Allen belts,” Atomic Energy Commission Glenn Seaborg wrote in his memoirs. “This result contravened all our predictions.”

More than half a dozen satellites had been victimized by radiation from the blast. Telstar, the AT&T communications satellite launched one day after Starfish, relayed telephone calls, faxes and television signals until its transistors were damaged by Starfish radiation. (The Soviets tested their own high-altitude thermonuclear device in October 1962, which further damaged Telstar’s transistors and rendered it useless.

Mankind is apparently confined to the planet earth by some radiation belts held in place by the magnetic field of the earth. No living thing can survive in the region of the belts. The flaming swords of God?

Sinful man would say, "Lets double the budget of the National Science Foundation, Department of Energy Office of Science, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology Laboratories and see if there is a way through these flaming swords to leave this planet.

Not ever gonna happen!

No one leaves the earth alive.  According to Genesis God created Adam from the earth and eventually the flesh decays and returns to it. The physical flesh to which we cling is nothing more than dust and we must look to the spiritual life for our eternal existence. We are all the same, equal, no one is better than the other; we were created from the same thing and will all eventually go back to the same thing.

من الثرى خُلقنا وإلى الثرى نعود' ... for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” 

Our only hope is in Jesus Christ.

 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;
John 11:25

He is the Giver of life, for he said I came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
 

Scripture speaks of two deaths. The first death is the separation of the spirit from the body. This is physical death, and for believers it is merely a passage to glory (Philippians 1:21-26). The second death is the separation of the spirit from God. This is spiritual death, and it is to be dreaded above all else. By the same token, we can see two resurrections for believers. The first is the deliverance of God’s elect from their state of death in trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2:1). The second will be that glorious day when the bodies of all who died in the Lord will be raised, reunited with their spirits, and ushered into the presence of God for all eternity.

Both these resurrections are rooted in Christ Jesus. It is only because of his accomplished work of redemption on the cross that sins are forgiven, guilt is removed, and believers are brought into the kingdom of God. Also, it is only through his defeat of death on that same cross that we are assured a resurrection to glory (Romans 6:8-9; 1 Corinthians 15: 20 & 57; Colossians 1:18; 1 Thessalonians 4:16).

Reader, you are a sinner. The Word of God from beginning to end emphasizes that fact. In Isaiah 53:6 we learn:

"ALL we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned EVERY ONE to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us ALL."

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

  "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost."—Titus 3:5.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."—Eph. 2:8,9.

"Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot."—I Peter 1:18,19.

 "For the wages of sin is death; but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."—Rom. 6:23.

Romans 10:13 says:

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord (Jesus Christ) shall be saved."

 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."—John 3:16. 

"Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out," says John 6:37; and salvation is promised in John 1:12 to as many as receive Jesus. But you could not come to Christ without trusting Him, and John 1:12 shows that receiving Jesus is the same as believing on His name.

 Acts 16:31  "BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, AND THOU SHALT BE SAVED"

 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that BELIEVE on his name."—John 1:12.

"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever BELIEVETH in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever BELIEVETH in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."—John 3:14-16.

"He that BELIEVETH on him is not condemned: but he that BELIEVETH not is condemned already, because he hath not BELIEVED in the name of the only begotten Son of God."—John 3:18.

"He that BELIEVETH on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that BELIEVETH not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."—John 3:36.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and BELIEVETH on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."—John 5:24.

"And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and BELIEVETH on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day."—John 6:40.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that BELIEVETH on me hath everlasting life."—John 6:47.

"To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever BELIEVETH in him shall receive remission of sins."—Acts 10:43.

"And by him all that BELIEVE are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses."—Acts 13:39.

  "What must I do to be saved?"
"BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved."—Acts 16:30,

 "If any man sin, we have an advocate [or lawyer] with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for our's only, but also for the sins of the whole world."—I John 2:1,2.

 "Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth."—Proverbs 27:1.

"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."—II Cor. 6:2.

"To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts."—Hebrews 3:7,8.

God has given you this heartbeat, this breath, this moment in order to trust Christ, but there is no promise of another. I beg you do it right now, and then claim Him as your Saviour. You are saved when you trust Christ.

 One who trusts Christ should then publicly claim Christ before men. It is God's plan that after trusting Him you should be baptized and join in with His people. I hope you will join a Bible-believing church and let yourself be known publicly from this time forth as a child of God.

The only way to truly leave this planet alive is through faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior.
