"Is there a price to pay for the gifts of the Holy Spirit? If there is,
they would not be gifts, but purchases.
Nevertheless, there well may be a
price to pay in their use. Those not prepared to risk their leisure,
their comfort, their reputation, and perhaps much more, may be little
used by God – even if He does bestow His power‑gifts upon them.
A
complete tool kit may be a marvelous gift for a carpenter, but it would
be useless without the sweat of his brow.
Gifts call for commitment; as
Romans 12:7 puts it, ‘Let us use it in our ministering.’ His life is
poured out with ours. Gifts are for givers. To get, give!
God bless you."

welcome
“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.” -Isaiah 53:5-6
