Monday Malism Malloseismic

A paper produced by a team at the University of Pennsylvania confirms something many people have probably thought true for some time:

The notion that internet users are unhappy with the way their privacy is undermined by advertisers and online companies, yet feel there is nothing they can do about it.

While marketing companies like to present an image of customers who are happy to hand over personal information in return for certain benefits, the truth is rather different.

Rather than dedicating time and energy to trying to stop personal data from being exploited, people are instead taking it on the chin and accepting it as part and parcel of modern, online life.

It's just the way things are.

Apple gets challenged

In the past couple of months, we have seen many reviewers write good things about dirt-cheap smartphones.

Phones that are reliable, well built, cheap, and top performing.

Mat Honan famously wrote why we shouldn't ignore low-priced smartphones. John Herrman shared a similar experience when he bought a $76 Android phone from rather an unknown company called BLU.

Someone now reviewed Xiaomi Mi 4i, a $200 Android-powered smartphone which the company is marketing as a flagship smartphone.

The reviewer notes that he found the phone extremely well built and reliable enough.

The Propaganda Spinners Story

"Anti-Vaxxers" is being used as a term like "Conspiracy Theorist" by the propaganda spin doctors to throw you off the trail...

So you are programed to believe that you need a flu shot?  TIL that an outbreak of swine flu in the US in 1976 killed one person, but the vaccine for said swine flu killed 25 people.

The truth is the powers that be actually want to change humans DNA sideways

TIL that a man was injected with Plutonium without his knowledge or consent and survived for 20 years, eventually surviving the highest radiation dose known for any human

Inspite of the fact that we do not have all of the facts, only a few small parts, what we do know is that in the last days of planet earth there will indeed be a One World Government. How do we know this? From the Holy Bible!

Let not your heart be troubled.
