FBI Is Behind Mysterious Flights Over US Cities

A report from the Associated Press indicating the FBI has a small fleet of planes that fly across the U.S. carrying surveillance equipment.

The planes are registered with fictitious companies to hide their association with the U.S. government.

The FBI says they're only used for investigations that are "specific" and "ongoing," but they're often used without getting permission from a judge beforehand.

"Some of the aircraft can also be equipped with technology that can identify thousands of people below through the cellphones they carry, even if they're not making a call or in public.

Officials said that practice, which mimics cell towers and gets phones to reveal basic subscriber information, is rare."

The AP identified at least 50 FBI-controlled planes, which have done over 100 flights since late April.

The AP adds that they've seen the planes "orbiting large, enclosed buildings for extended periods where aerial photography would be less effective than electronic signals collection."

And here is an interesting (as in VERY) sidebar to this story

Professional Russian Trolling Exposed

Today the New York Times published a stunning exposé revealing the strategies used by one of the Web's greatest enemies: professional, government-backed "internet trolls."

These well-paid agent provocateurs are dedicated to destroying the value of the Internet as an organizing and political tool.

The trolling attacks described within are mind-boggling -- they sound like the basis of a Neal Stephenson novel as much as they do real life -- but they all rely on the usual, inevitable suspects of imperfect security and human credulity.

Check your lower right side of you system tray...Reserve your free for life copy now of the new Windows Ten OS.

Windows 10 will be released worldwide on July 29th, 2015. It'll be immediately available for PCs and tablets — their announcement doesn't mention smartphones. The upgrade will be free (within one year of launch) for users running legitimate copies of Windows 7 and 8.1. Another reader notes that users of those two operating systems are now being prompted to upgrade by a message in their notification area (system tray).

Made in Job's Dad's garage...

A recycling centre in the Silicon Valley is looking for a woman who dropped off an old computer for recycling.

The computer was apparently inside boxes of electronics that she had cleaned out from her garage after her husband died.

This would be nothing unusual, except that the recycled computer was an Apple I

The recycling firm eventually sold the Apple I for $200,000 to a private collection, and because the company gives 50 per cent of the proceeds from sold items back to the original owner, they wish to split the proceeds with the mystery donor.

This is really not new...

The BBC's report of a newly engineered alloy that returns to its original shape after deformation even after 10 million cycles more than 10 million times.

From the article: "Memory shape alloys" like this have many potential uses, but present incarnations are prone to wearing out.

The new material — made from nickel, titanium and copper — shatters previous records and is so resilient it could be useful in artificial heart valves, aircraft components or a new generation of solid-state refrigerators."

Metals with strange properties was discovered at the Rosewell 1947 crash.

"A young man saw pieces of a metal having unusual properties.

He could crinkle the metal like aluminum foil and release it and it would bounce back into it's original shape.

Although crash debris collected was unusual, as attested to by the one credible firsthand witness whose father showed him the metal—and he was investigated by equally credible investigators—an alternative conclusion to consider is that the object that crashed was made of materials developed at Battelle, delivered via Wright-Patterson AFB, and used in the construction of experimental aircraft in an “above top secret” facility in New Mexico.

Today we know such facility existed, but none of the military officers involved in the crash recovery is likely to have known about it; the purpose of the OSS/CIA’s “Project (or ‘Operation’) Paperclip,” which smuggled former Nazi scientists into the USA to conduct secret research toward creating a space program, was revealed to the public only decades later.

A newspaper reporter’s recent discovery of a declassified government document indicated a connection between the Roswell Crash, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and the Battelle Memorial Institute—the institute charged with developing a Titanium-based alloy with “shape memory”—this evidence remains inconclusive with regard to the nature and origin of the crashed object.

The metal was reportedly so pliable that it could not be creased or bent, so strong that it could not be cut, burned, or melted, and so impervious to penetration that a bullet fired from a high-powered rifle could not even scratch or dent it. And, yet, there was a debris field covered with broken pieces of this indestructible material."

Walter Haut:  Roswell public information officer; spoke to Marcel in 1980 about strong thin metal. (New!) In 2002 confessed to handling material at morning meeting brought back from field by Marcel.

Major Jesse Marcel:  Roswell chief of intelligence; thin metal unaffected by a sledgehammer; plastic-like properties.
Now we have something that is even better... :-)

Untethered Miniature Origami Robot That Self-Folds, Walks, Swims, and Degrades

MIT researchers demonstrated an untethered miniature origami robot that self-folds, walks, swims, and degrades at ICRA 2015 in Seattle.
A miniature robotic device that can fold-up on the spot, accomplish tasks, and disappear by degradation into the environment promises a range of medical applications but has so far been a challenge in engineering.
This work presents a sheet that can self-fold into a functional 3D robot, actuate immediately for untethered walking and swimming, and subsequently dissolve in liquid. Further, the robot is capable of conducting basic tasks and behaviors, including swimming, delivering/carrying blocks, climbing a slope, and digging.
The developed models include an acetone-degradable version, which allows the entire robot's body to vanish in a liquid.
Thus this experimentally demonstrate the complete life cycle of this robot: self-folding,actuation, and degrading.

Let God Be "She."

A group within the Church of England is calling for God to be referred to as female following the selection of the first female bishops.
Now hold on to your hats...

So it could be surmised that the "Bride of Christ" will be married to whom?
The imagery and symbolism of marriage is applied to Christ and the body of believers known as the church.
These are those who have trusted in Jesus Christ as their personal savior and have received eternal life. In the New Testament, Christ, the Bridegroom, has sacrificially and lovingly chosen the church to be His bride (Ephesians 5:25-27).
Just as there was a betrothal period in biblical times during which the bride and groom were separated until the wedding, so is the bride of Christ separate from her Bridegroom during the church age.
Her responsibility during the betrothal period is to be faithful to Him (2 Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 5:24).
At the Second Coming of Christ, the church will be united with the Bridegroom, the official "wedding ceremony" will take place and, with it, the eternal union of Christ and His bride will be actualized (Revelation 19:7-9; 21:1-2).

As believers in Jesus Christ, we who are the bride of Christ wait with great anticipation for the day when we will be united with our Bridegroom.
Until then, we remain faithful to Him and say with all the redeemed of the Lord, “Come, Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20).
Now to most straight western male men this is something hard to understand.
2 Corinthians 11:2

For I feel a divine jealousy for you, since I betrothed you to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ.

Revelation 19:7-9  Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.

And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”

If your skeptical like most people you would wonder 'what are they up to now?

The Pentagon doesn't know where the Anthrax went.

The Defense Department admitted it sent deadly spores to three countries and 12 states—and confessed it doesn’t know who else received the lethal bacteria.
