There Are Powers At Work In America

Ephesians 6:12 King James Version (KJV)

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

There are some nefarious plans for the future of America, the immediate future in particular.

These plans originate not in man but in the above scripture specification.

Setting aside all end time prophecy speculation  and conjecture by man and just looking at the current news feeds we see that there is enough evidence to support the above scripture statement.

A lot of evil is showing it's effects lately.

People are being polarized and attitudes are showing all over the place.

It is a common strategy of Satan.

Divide and conquer.

King James Bible Mark 3:25
"And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand."

Unity and Love are what our nation needs right now.

It is easy to throw rocks at beehives.

But you may not like the results.

There is a spirit of division at work in America.

Some believe that those in powerful places are pushing division by design in America for a complete take over of America.

If they can instill fear and rioting across America than martial law can be declared and all of the American trained UN troops stationed on American military bases can fan out to take arms away from the American public.

Thus insuring complete take over of America.

Prayer is a powerful tool in the Armor of God.

In the hands of the sincere person there is great potential.

Assaults are becoming a weekly occurrence.

There is a tendency to allow ourselves to become numb to the news of new assaults.

We are in danger of becoming apathetic and passive towards all of this.

We as Christians must take to our prayer closets and bend the knee.

2 Corinthians 10:4-6 New King James Version (NKJV)

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Prayer is our best resource available to all of us to make a difference in our world today, right now!

I love that, "Mighty in God for pulling down strongholds."

This is how we perform change.

This is how we obtain victory.

New Living Translation
 2 Chronicles 20:15
He said, "Listen, all you people..!

Listen..!

This is what the LORD says:

Do not be afraid!

Don't be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God's.

This is the underlying truth to everything in life.

Ultimately the battle is the Lord's.

We rejoice in that!

Hallelujah!

Blessed be the name of the Lord, praise the Lord!

There are powers at work in America and we are one of them through our united prayers over America.

Quietly we take to our prayer closets as Christians and we beseech the one and only throne above all thrones.

Where resides the Almighty God of the entire universe.

Our heavenly Father who loves us all unconditionally.

He loves you!

Hebrews 4:16 New King James Version (NKJV)

16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

How to start in prayer if you have neglected it for awhile.

At first your mind will want to wander like a puppy sniffing out every corner.

You will have to sit for a few moments and attempt to discipline it.

King James Bible Romans 8:7
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

But we can calm it and bring it under subjection to our will.

The mind will say, "I don't feel anything, why are you doing this, I'm bored."

Ignore it and know that God hears you just the same.

And if you know He hears you, you know you will obtain your petition before Him.

King James Bible First John 5:15
And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Keep at it, determine to let nothing stop you from talking to God.

After a while most people begin to actually experience a deep sense of peace that the world can't give and the world can't take away from us.

Why?

Because Jesus the Prince of Peace is our peace.

 “For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us;
   And the government will rest on His shoulders;
And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).

In a world filled with war and violence, it’s difficult to see how Jesus could be the all-powerful God who acts in human history and be the embodiment of peace.

But physical safety and political harmony don’t necessarily reflect the kind of peace He’s talking about (John 14:27).

The Hebrew word for “peace,” shalom, is often used in reference to an appearance of calm and tranquility of individuals, groups, and nations.

The Greek word eirene means “unity and accord”; Paul uses eirene to describe the objective of the New Testament church.

But the deeper, more foundational meaning of peace is “the spiritual harmony brought about by an individual’s restoration with God.”

This is what happens when you enter into prayer with God.

You obtain Him, as Peace.

In our sinful state, we are enemies with God (Romans 5:10).

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).

Because of Christ’s sacrifice, we are restored to a relationship of peace with God (Romans 5:1).

This is the deep, abiding peace between our hearts and our Creator that cannot be taken away (John 10:27–28) and the ultimate fulfillment of Christ’s work as “Prince of Peace.”

But Christ’s sacrifice provides more for us than eternal peace; it also allows us to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit, the Helper who promises to guide us (John 16:7, 13).

Further, the Holy Spirit will manifest Himself in us by having us live in ways we couldn’t possibly live on our own, including filling our lives with love, joy, and peace (Galatians 5:22–23).

This love, joy, and peace are all results of the Holy Spirit working in the life of a believer.

They are reflections of His presence in us.

And, although their deepest, most vital result is to have us live in love, joy, and peace with God, they can’t help but to spill over into our relationships with people.

And we desperately need it—especially since God calls us to live with singleness of purpose with other believers, with humility, gentleness, and patience, “being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:1–3).

This unity in purpose and gentleness would be impossible without the work of the Holy Spirit in us and the peace we have with God thanks to the sacrifice of His Son.

Ironically, the lightest definition of peace, that of the appearance of tranquility in a person, can be the most difficult to grasp and maintain. We do nothing to acquire or maintain our spiritual peace with God (Ephesians 2:8–9). And, while living in unity with other believers can be extremely difficult, living in peace in our own lives can very often feel impossible.

Note that peaceful doesn’t mean “easy.” Jesus never promised easy; He only promised help.

In fact, He told us to expect tribulation (John 16:33) and trials (James 1:2).

But He also said that, if we called on Him, He would give us the “peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension” (Philippians 4:6–7).

No matter what hardships we are faced with, we can ask for a peace that comes from the powerful love of God that is not dependent on our own strength or the situation around us.

God loves all of us so dearly just as we are, warts and all!

Don't neglect that wonderful daily prayer time that Daniel enjoyed.

You will soon enough find yourself desiring the prayer closet because of the incredible relationship with God the Father that will develop.

Sadness and hopelessness has been the most common response to the long list of recent terror attacks.

Ours, as Christians, should be to head for our prayer closets.

Spend some valuable and much needed time with our Father who is in heaven.

He loves us and wants to hear from us.

And there will be love and change for the good.

God bless America!
