“Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” is considered the most famous sermon ever preached in American history. Jonathan Edwards delivered this message on July 8, 1741 in Enfield, Connecticut. Many who heard it trembled and cried out for mercy. Others fainted. Five hundred people were converted that day.
After listening to Max McLean’s presentation of Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God, I immediately thought of the many people I know who have not yet embraced Christ as Savior. That single sermon has struck a match in my heart to share the Gospel with urgency and clarity! Thank you, Max, for breathing new life into the timeless words of Jonathan Edwards!
