The
only thing that you as a Christian can not do in Heaven is share the
Gospel message with the unsaved. What you do down here on earth now
matters for all eternity. I despise the damnable attitude that "not
everyone can evangelize." Every Christian can and should share their
faith with others.
Luke 11:33
No
man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place,
neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in
may see the light.
This is more then the so
called "life style evangelism." This is proactive sharing of the Gospel.
Actually going out and sharing with the unsaved. Have you ever done
that?
James 5:20
Let him
know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way
shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
Not
only that but save someone for eternity. Jesus saves. Jesus came here
on earth to make a way of salvation. It was important to the trinity. It
should be important to you. More then building churches, more then
meetings.
Jesus gave up His life on earth for our salvation.
2 Peter 3:9
The
Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness;
but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but
that all should come to repentance.
Matthew 18:14
Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
All of us 'Jesus People' got it. We knew how to share proactively with the unsaved. We were very good at sharing with others.
But today we are losing the youth in America.
We have to allow the Holy Spirit to take control of the Church if we want to win the youth for Christ in this generation.
"The
study shows that 16- to 29-year-olds exhibit a greater degree of
criticism toward Christianity than did previous generations when they
were at the same stage of life. In fact, in just a decade, many of the
Barna measures of the Christian image have shifted substantially
downward, fueled in part by a growing sense of disengagement and
disillusionment among young people. For instance, a decade ago the vast
majority of Americans outside the Christian faith, including young
people, felt favorably toward Christianity’s role in society. Currently,
however, just 16% of non-Christians in their late teens and twenties
said they have a "good impression" of Christianity."

May
the Holy Spirit convict us for thinking otherwise. We need to get out
there and do the work of the Gospel. we need to witness. We have this
truth and this incredible power of God backing us up and we are being
passive and stagnant when it comes to spreading the Gospel. O but we
give to others to do what we are to be doing. Truth be told, every one
of those "others" live a better more profitable earthly life then you or
I do. Everyone of them. Don't think so? Go look at your pastors home
and at his job security that you provide him. Check out how well off his
children and his children's children are doing.
Romans 10:15
And
how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How
beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and
bring glad tidings of good things!
1 Corinthians 9:14
Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.
1 Corinthians 9:12
... Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.
1 Corinthians 9:17
For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward.
1 Corinthians 9:18
What
is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make
the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the
gospel.
Proverbs 11:30
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
Get that? Is Wise...
