I once had a small Arabic coffee in Israel in an Arab coffee shop in the mid 70's. It was very strong and muddy and very tasty. I sat with a 25 year old Arab man who was my own age at the time. We both could not speak each others language but we did communicate with pictures drawn on a napkin. I shared the gospel message with him and he got saved right there. I was sent all the way from California to bring this man to Jesus Christ!
The Arab world has given birth to many thinkers and many inventions - among them the three-course meal, alcohol and coffee. The best coffee bean is still known as Arabica, but it's come a long way from the Muslim mystics who treasured it centuries ago, to the chains that line our high streets.

 This man is not joking.

Talent comes in many forms...LOL!

Hospitals make more money when they make mistakes during surgery, and reducing mistakes could actually cut into a hospital's profits, according to a new study.
The study's authors suggest that changing the way people pay for hospital care could reduce complications, while maintaining the status quo could keep hospitals from trying to improve. On average, a surgery with complication netted a hospital $1,749 more for every patient on Medicare, or $39,017 more for a patient with private insurance, compared to a complication-free procedure.

Oh Look, Rep. Mike Rogers Wife Stands To Benefit Greatly From CISPA Passing...

American Sanity
New Indiana Bill "voids" all federal acts, orders, laws, rules, and regulations made by the federal government that go against the Constitution, and any persons or law enforcement that attempt to enforce these "void" federal laws will be charged with a Class D felony.

Pro-CISPA interest groups have given $67,600,000 to the House since 2010. New co-sponsors have received 38x as much money from supporting interests than from interests opposed to CISPA.

Yesterday's vote on CISPA was procedural. IT HAS NOT PASSED -- YET... The final House vote will be in a few hours. There's still time to make noise about this bill.

CISPA, the U.S. law that would turn Google, Facebook, and Twitter into legally immune government spies just passed the house.

Oppose CISPA If you value any privacy in our digital world. "Cyber-security is a real problem, but Congress' latest CISPA bill tries to solve it by attacking the freedom of the internet"

Greece is broke in more ways then one...
TIL that Greek mythology isn't a dead religion: People still worship the 12 Greek gods just as the Greeks did.

Congressman Perlmutter tried to add a last minute amendment to CISPA today;would add verbiage stating no employer/government entity could ask for info w/out court order & to prevent a mechanism akin to China's Great Firewall. CISPA creator,Rogers steps up, laughs, says,"save it for employment laws"

Harsh Reality...
Only in Texas.. This is what no zoning regulations looks like
