Bob Laidlaw

Bob Laidlaw

Bob Laidlaw was a deacon in a Southern Baptist church for eight years.

He not only has recently been filled with the Holy Spirit but he has also received a wonderful eye healing.

Bob feels that his eyes have been opened both spiritually and physically.

He loves to share with others about the love and power of God.

When Bob was nine years old, he watched an eclipse of the sun without a covering for his eyes.

As a result, his right eye became partially blind.

He couldn't pinpoint objects, and he could see only a very small area with his bad eye.

He's been suffering with this problem for 28 years.

Bob came to the Shekinah service in Long Beach CA for the second time on January 12, 1974.

He was very skeptical of healings' but he felt that the Lord wanted him to go forward for prayer.

One of the workers prayed with him as he was standing in the prayer line.

He looked up and realized that he could see!

His eye had opened!

As pastor Brant Baker approached him and prayed for him, Bob was filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit.

He sensed the presence of God in a powerful new way.

Bob is no longer a skeptic.

He knows that Jesus is still healing people.

He has restored eyesight to prove it.

Bob shares the new life that he's found in Christ like this, "I was never able to love anybody, and now I love everyone. It's hard to love people or yourself, without Christ."

This testimony first appeared in the Shekinah Fellowship magazine Vol. 1, No. 2, Summer 1975, page 11
