The Register reports that Microsoft has changed the Windows 10 update dialog and no longer shows the "X" close button.
They say once agreed to there is no obvious back-out method and it is now out of step with Microsoft's own documentation on this.
They have a screenshot of this.
As noted above, the latest move is out of step with Microsoft's Knowledge Base documentation, which says you can re-schedule your upgrade.

Well technically not true.
There is one way out.When the white window pops up telling you that Windows Ten will start installing soon, there is something that you can do.
Find "Windows Restore" and restore as far back as you can.
Then after the restore and your back in the OS your currently using, find "Windows update" and change the settings to not allow updates.
Block them.
If the above instructions seem over your head then don't even try it.
But to others it will be an obvious dodge of Windows Ten if your not inclined to install it.
You may have to do this a few times before the out-of-your-control installation of Win 10 eventually fades away.
But it is a doable work around.
