As I was having breakfast this morning the owner of the Restaurant came over to talk with me.
He was telling me of a top secret project he was involved in at his other business.
He is currently helping to make hydraulics that will manipulate a hydrofoil arrangement on a boat that will cause it to leave a wake behind it that is exactly like a real wave that you can surf on!
The boat lifts up out of the water and the highly technical and perfectly shaped hydrofoil creates the perfect wave shape.
This wake is not like a normal boat wake.
It is tuned and shaped specifically for surfing.
I pressed him for more details but he held back.
So I look forward to seeing this new developement in the surfing world soon.
