Samuel The Rain Maker Reporting

Sun Feb 7, 2016

11:30AM; Strong high pressure along the entire U.S. West Coast continues to be parked in place to block an enormous storm system offshore.

The abnormally high pressure is causing strong Santa Ana winds (30-35 MPH gusts) blowing to the SSW in our region.

These winds will supplement the high pressure and help block the Northbound tropical moisture and low pressure system located to the South as well as the large storm front to the West offshore.

High temperatures near 80F are the result today (Sunday). 87F & 88 F temperatures are forecast for Monday and Tuseday as the weather controllers pull out the stops to prevent any of this weather from moving into CA.

An area of low pressure located off Baja Mexico with an associated area of moisture is moving North toward California, Arizona and New Mexico.

Two days ago we watched a zone high pressure suddenly appear like a jack-in-the-box along the border to block the Northbound moisture field moving into these States.

Note the 45 degree angle in the storm front offshore.

Another giant storm is on the heels of the one offshore; high pressure is being placed between the two storms to prevent merging.
