The Anointing

There are some who walk with an anointing from God Himself upon their lives.

Such an anointing that others are impacted and drawn.

There is a manifested presence of the person of the Holy Spirit that lifts and encourages in such a way that has a lasting impression for having been exposed to the ones who walk in anointing.

There is something beyond anything of this earth that enlarges and fills, pushes us forward into the larger plans of Jesus Christ for our own existence and that of others in ministry and service.

Years may pass, and yet the influence and shaping of that precious anointing still lingers upon us.

Will we ever know or experience that anointing again?
Will we ever hear genuine words of relevancy for the moment from the mind and heart of Almighty God again?

Or will we just be entertained and catered to while hearing flat words of man?

The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.
John 12:21

It is Jesus that we want to see and hear.

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Acts 10:38

John 6:44-45 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

Therefore, those who are drawn are all that do in fact come to Jesus.

They come to Him because God has opened their heart and taught them.

Colossians 1:19-20 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

The plan of God is grander than just people going to church and worshipping Him.

He means to reconcile the whole created order to Himself.

Since Jesus says He will draw “all,” He may be referring to “all things.”

, He may be saying that His death, and the power it has to eradicate sin, will be the fulcrum God will use to undo all the effects of evil everywhere in the universe:

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
John 12:32

Jesus has the anointing of the Holy Spirit and power from God (Acts 10:38) to draw all of us to Himself.

We are drawn to Jesus when we hear Him speak through others who have yielded their lives to Him.

They have prayed sincerely, "Dear Jesus I submit to You and I desire that you would use me as you see fitting. I desire that Your Words would be in my mouth and that every single word of the flesh would fall void to the ground and that Your Word would go forth from my mouth as I represent You before others."

God anoints people who pray like that!

So where are the anointed of God?

The ones who truly represent Christ to the world around them with an anointing from God.

They are serving Jesus and not themselves.

O how we long for Jesus!

O how we seek after the ones who serve Him, who would speak His Words.

The anointing of God has no equal.

Sir, we would see Jesus.

John 12:21
